I was hoping for another hour or two, but oh well. I had a relaxing day yesterday, doing some cleaning up around here, and this and that. DS in SF came over for a birthday dinner for me. I ended up manning the grill after DW thought about it for a while. Nice small family gathering and free furniture moving for the annual living room rearranging for the Christmas tree which will be put up this week. PT early today, some early shopping and then back to SIP life. I will test the ankle with my first walk in 2 weeks.

    Good Morning!

It was a busy weekend! I am just getting settled into work this morning. I don't really feel rested after the weekend.

I did have a good trip to see my brother, yesterday. The ol' truck did just fine. I also visited the graves of my parents, and my younger brother.

We started putting out some of our Christmas decorations last night. I will get out more later this week.

Collin and I have an appointment at the shooting range this evening. I'm looking forward to that.

I am going to try my first on-line order of groceries and pickup tomorrow.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Slept in until 5:30; very restful feeling.

I really want to work on a project in my shop, today, but Rita wants to go shopping. She will be locked up the rest of the week: Covid test tomorrow, then quarantine, cataract surgery Thursday, follow-up Friday. I guess we'll be shopping.

    Good morning.

Drove 19 miles to a trailhead yesterday hoping to use snowshoes, and there was only 2" of snow there, in contrast to our 9". Got in a walk on the trails for maybe 45 minutes and saw two XC-skiers. Will go nearby next time.

Cardiologist today. Have only had one episode of A-fib in last 3 years, that after a very long, steep hike. Some occasional palpitations. Bringing printouts of EKG traces from my Kardia mobile gizmo.

Might go to see if the 98 year old forester I bought my tree from last year is still in business. He's not on the internet, no listed phone, just a sign on a back road and a driveway through the woods to his house, alone in the forest. Fascinating character.

Dave, is the the other eye? I thought she had the surgery already...

    Have a good day.

Yeah, Mike, this is her other eye. She is left-eye dominant. So they did her right eye last month. This week, they do her left eye. She is a very impatient patient, too. So this v=calls for a lot of understanding on my part, to ease the whole process for her.
