Good Morning BBB.
Lee - so proud of the boys - I was labeled least likely to succeed - people do such damage.
Off to a final holiday vendor event - this one runs from 10 - 3 and worth it to make community connections.
Wrapped gifts for our neighbors and we will drop them by before Christmas. Tom did not want us to include the toxic neighbors but I like to take the high road and "kill them with kindness."
Do good out there everyone.

I'm dead last in my Fantasy Football league. Ugh.

On a brighter note, I went snow shoeing at a local state property this morning and low and behold who did I see there, Bruce the high school counselor. I kid you not. I don't think he recognized me with my cold weather gear and mask on and I said nothing except chuckle to myself. Still chuckling. Do you think a higher power was tempting me? I think I got my anger out here yesterday. Thanks guys.

Still not done shopping. Almost.

Am currently doing a self clean with our gas oven to try and solve a problem with the lower unit (for bake) igniting. The last week or so, the bake function won't work when oven is cold. We found if we turned the broiler on first, for just a few moments, then the bake function would work. I dismantled the covers for the lower unit and watched the igniter come on and light just fine with covers off. I cleaned the igniter with a toothbrush and tried again thinking maybe it would light faster, but no, it still just lit up in the same amount of time. Replaced covers and the darn thing went back to needing the broiler turned on first. Am hoping the self clean with correct whatever is wrong. Anybody got a clue? Hate calling the guy for this just because trying to coordinate a house call is difficult.

Slept a bit late (for me) after being awakened in the middle of the night with tooth pain. More trouble from that temporary crown. Thank God for Motrin.

Lee, I remember when the Apache was first fielded, back in the mid 80s. It replaced the Cobra. Amazing that the Apache is still a frontline aircraft, after all these years.

Good Morning,
Been churched and led Sunday School class; one day of stupidity agreed to teach Sunday School 3rd Sunday each month.
We went and ate catfish last night so DMIL did not get her margarita, fixed her a couple shots of salted caramel whiskey on the rocks.
We have received everything ordered except shoes for DW and a book she ordered for me; reckon we will wrap everything this afternoon.
Only 3 yoga classes this week.
Kids coming Christmas Eve, all should be over by 8 pm.
Dave, if still hurting tomorrow recommend calling dentist; sounds as infection if keep hurting, mouth heals quicker than any other part of body.
Ovens have too much technology now days, I have to call a guy.
Snow shoes with ice on feet, way too cold for me.

• Spent all morning at church. We streamed the normal Sunday morning service and then recorded the Christmas eve service.
• Good aircraft stick around for a long time. The Air Force is still flying B-52s and C-130s. Both date back to the 1950s.
• I'm ready for some football. Neighbors grandson did pretty well with LSU yesterday.

Well, how about those Ohio State Buckeyes, I often wonder if ds1 wishes he'd stayed with a winning team, but I don't say much, no need to look back. And the Packers took a win last night as well.

Raine, you are such a kind hearted soul, your toxic neighbors are toast. You will win, with kindness.

I saw my two neighbor boy favs from a distance this morning, so I could drop off the marvel superhero figures and some transformer gifts we wrapped up for them. and new holiday pez candy dispensers hanging from the ribbons. They were excited. And their mom gave me a batch of her homemade frozen baily's irish cream, so win win.

I wrapped all my ornament gifts this afternoon, I get a new one for each of our kids and for Tom every year, so Im done shopping and wrapping now. Next is a final grocery store run tomorrow, and we are all set for a low key Christmas eve for the 7 kids and 2 of us. Should be nice. We will toast the newly engaged couple as well, I hope? That is suppose to happen Wed. night 12/23 from what I hear from ds2 ?

Hi all. We just arrived in Ocean City Maryland after driving around in Deleware and Maryland all day. Stopped for ice cream and gas but otherwise just stayed in the car.

There is a walk through Christmas light display here tonight but it is currently raining so will check back later.

Lee congrats to both your boys. Great accomplishments.
