Good morning
Can’t sleep. Tossing and turning since 4. Ugh. Going to be a long day.
Well, 2 more days to go. Things around here have flip flopped and we’re making changes that we have no control of.
Covid has hit the first shifters at the casino. So, dh has to work the 25th at 5 am until 5 pm. He will have to leave here by 4:45am. He won’t get to see ds1 for even 24 hours. Super stinks. All the second shift people are healthy. He has been very careful to wipe everything down as soon as he gets to work. So glad we’re all healthy here!!

My friend Bob got vaccinated because he is back in a rehab center. He had another stroke.
Hopefully the vaccine will be available to all soon.
We have DSIL, DS#2 and DS#1 with DDIL coming for Christmas Eve. Then it is just DS#2 and us for Christmas Day.
It gonna start raining Christmas Eve afternoon straight through Christmas Day all day. Yeesh.
Better than snow, I guess.

Today is the last of the quiet days in this house. Tom works til 3pm. Ds1 lands at 430pm. Ds2 proposes tonite.
Christmas Eve we have Tom's ds,dd and dsil. My ds1, ds2,ds2f,dd.and Maddie dog.
Christmas Day afternoon we have just my ds1, ds2, ds2f.And Maddie dog.
Saturday nite we have same, plus ds2s cousin, his wife, babydd, .doing a small engagement gtg. Stinks we can't throw a bigger engagement party for them.

Good morning BBB crew.
Christmas eve, we'll go to our church, where there will be an outdoor "art walk" with displays illustrating facets of the Christmas story. My contribution was a bunch of wood turnings that will be included in a treasure chest gift from the magi. Thankfully, the weather forecast is for dry weather on Thursday.
Christmas day, DS, DDIL and the two DGKs will be over in the afternoon and for supper. They have all been spending time this week with people outside our bubble, but we will risk exposure. I don't think we could handle Christmas without our grand children.0 -

I'm thinking of pulling trigger on an installed ice machine under the basement bar. It was a PITA keeping ice filled in coolers last year!

Good morning.
Last work day until I'm off for the rest of the year! I think I might send people home early since there were only a half dozen of us around yesterday anyway.
I noticed that we didn't do a lot exchange this year too, but after purging all the constipation themed mugs from the Newbies exchanges over the years, I decided maybe I'm in a good place mug-wise this year. I still have my GOAD & BBB mugs that are used daily.0 -

I an here and crazy busy - pup search is going good. Meeting with a breeder that is a 92 year old retired veterinarian breeding Golden and Lab Golden mix of varying percentages for 75 years. He has a 70 person waiting list and never has let anyone jump ahed but he invited us so ... Should be interesting. May even look at Duck Trolling Retrievers too. As we said the right dog will find us.
Miss our mug exchange though we need another mug like a hole in the head.

- Has anyone else noticed DS can be either Darling Son or Darling Sister? I get confused sometimes. Not to mention Darling Dad and Darling Daughter. How come you never see DS0B?
- DW says thanks for the anniversary wishes. Quiet evening at home with a nice meal. All thanks to COVID.
- Our Christmas plans are much the same. We were invited to a neighborhood NYE party. Politely declined. 'Cmon vaccine.
