Good morning
Our house looks like a tornado hit it. Ha ha.
7 people had prime rib, mashed potatoes, bread, broccoli and stir fried green beans. Pretty daggone good. Then opened gifts.
The turkey is in the oven now.
Dh got the shaft. Covid got the casino. He had to leave for work at 4:15 this am. He’s exhausted.
Enjoy your families today.

Good morning BBB and merry Christmas to you all.
We'll have a quiet morning, the DS, DDIL and two DGKs will come over to open presents and have supper. Maybe we'll play a board game or something. We're eating relatively light: baked ham, scalloped potatoes and a salad - apple pie for dessert. The danger are will be all the chips and snacks sitting around to munch on before and after supper. I'll rise above it.0 -

No plans for the day. I'll either make lentil soup, sweet potato hash or Thai peanut noodles. I'm leaning towards soup even though it takes the most work.
We will probably go for a drive later to see some of the sights around Richmond.0 -

We had Christmas with family last night, connected computer with DS and family to watch kids open gifts.
DMIL drank a couple bottles of wine last night, said she was going to sleep late today; she slept till 11 yesterday. DD had brought several bottles of wine that DMIL totally enjoyed.0 -

We 'lit' the tv fireplace this morning and unwrapped presents around the tree. Emma found a couple of hers, non-rawhide chew sticks. She can't hear, can't see well but apparently the nose still works. She pulled them out, unwrapped them and chewed away. The turkey is going into the oven soon. I imagine the Saints - Vikings game will be on this afternoon. It's a nice, quiet, and cold Christmas. Happy Birthday Jesus.0 -
