Good morning
I can’t believe I’m
The first one here.
I had my pjs on at 5 last night. In bed around 7. I’m into a book. It’s getting good.
Have a great day. Cbl0 -
Morning~
Ha! I went to bed quite early last night too....8'ish. Yesterday was a tough day getting back into the grind. Today will be long with election 2.0 too.
Down 2.9 at WI yesterday - so did okay over the holidays after all!
I'm ready for warmer weather and the pool to be open!
Sam - I don't envy the position you and DW are in with DMIL. I'm grateful my DMIL is relatively low maintenance and only a mild PITA. It might be time to consider placement in assisted living..... (can you have margarita machines in assisted living)???
So great to see Lisa pop in!! HNY, Lisa.
Raine??
Cheers,

Morning BBB, sleep whats that? I'm up now with the increase of h20 every 2hrs so it seems.
I'm already knee deep in prepping cut raw veggies, got my crockpot going of the old stand by recipe of ww veggie soup, will have oatmeal for breakfast. Its cold here !
Looking like ddil2b wants to attempt a pandemic free September 2021 vaccinated guest Wedding? Think it can happen, realistically??? Idk.?
Jan. Is a long month anyway...sorry Skip.
Hang in there Sam, prayers for you all.
I feel a bit in limbo myself all around. Where will 2021 take us?
Be well BBB

Hope you week goes smoothly Skip. I do envy you.
I did a secret shop at an assisted living/retirement village that had a bar. Different levels of 'services' so family could monitor alcohol consumption and $$$. I thought it was pretty cool system.
We bought new phones yesterday and today got our stimulus check so pretty much a wash. Not really planned that way...our pixel 2's were just running out of time on security updates and getting kinda buggy. Went with galaxy s20. So far so good.0 -
Good morning BBB crew.
Getting used to the new laptop. I had dozens of "favorite" sites on the old one, which I now have to locate. a bit of a PITA. I will try to get a data transfer from the old hard drive, but want to shop for a better price than the $100 quoted to me at the store where I bought the new computer. The new one is much smaller and lighter than the old one, which I like. If we ever get back to traveling, this one will be nice to carry on airplanes.0 -
Mornin' BBB.
Good luck with data transfer, Dave, Been there, done that. Definitely a PITA.
I wish me dad had gone into assisted living. He was convinced that he would never recover if he went into assisted living. Oh well, he went out on his own terms. May he RIP.
Congrats on being a loser, Skip.

Good morning.
Nothing new since yesterday other than a lady who lives with someone who's infected with COVID who decided to come into the office to get away from the roommate. 🤦♂️
Dave - have I offered my testimony on Lastpass? Is a password manager that's device agnostic and free.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- It is once again Election Day in Georgia. May all the nauseating ads stop.
- Good luck this week Skip. Hopefully it will be peaceful.
- There are different levels of assisted living ranging from nursing homes to independent apartments. They can get quite pricey.
- I think you will like the S20 Steph. I have the S10 and it is great.
- I think the September wedding is a good plan. Get your vaccination this summer or don't bother coming.
- Dave, I would be excited with the new PC but yes it can get frustrating. If you can still get into the old one you should be able to export your favorites from the browser and then import them to the new one. For files you can copy your "Documents" folder or parts of it to a thumb drive and move them that way. Unless you have a complicated system paying big bucks to transfer data is not necessary. If you can't get into your old PC that's another story. Let me know if I can help.
- When it comes to COVID everyone "thinks" they are being safe. They just have different definitions of safe.

DMIL tested positive with instant COVID test yesterday. Since doctor went with this test three weeks ago they have not had a single negative test. Her oxygen level was 98%, no fever, BP 138/82 and this morning is feeling great; think she wanted attention and upset because she did not get to see all grandkids and other daughter over Christmas. Good thing about this is DW told her she needed to stay downstairs away from us. Since we had been in quarantine their is no one she could have come in contact with. Doctor did not believe we needed to quarantine again. Told DW vaccine is available for us, she will get info when she see doctor tomorrow for follow-up on test from mid-December.
Will be so glad when election is over. Do know some counties in Georgia that sent out mail in ballots double sent and election personnel told to count votes as they came in and did not check against voter list because some also voted in person. Do not know if audit would benefit either party or candidate.

Dennis, I can't get the3 old computer to turn on. There is a power light, but won't boot up. Probably an easy fix, if I was a computer geek. I still have my previous computer, which died five years ago, too. It has hundreds of photographs on it I'd love to recover, too. I probably just need to bite the bullet and pay for the service.0
