    Good morning gentlemen.

Trying to get excited for the day and can't. DW wants to sort photographs on my laptop and select those to get printed at Costco before they eliminate their photo department next week. That doesn't seem like much fun, to me. Into each life a little rain must fall.

    Good Morning!

Lee, Happy birthday! I hope that you had a great birthday celebration!

Dave, such a beautiful hike that you took. Just beautiful. For Christmas, I bought Connie a digital picture frame. It holds thousands of photos, and displays them on a timed rotation. It really is nice. Having said that, I have to sort through thousands of pictures that we each have, to pick a good selection for her digital frame. I feel your pain. I do, however, recommend this. It is easy to move pictures from your computer, or phone, to the digital frame. You can buy them for as little as $30, but I spent closer to $90 for Connie's.

Piano tuner coming to the house at 9:30 this morning. I am on dog don't bite the piano tuner duty. Mike, you can come out here next time, if you'd like to.

we had about two inches of snow yesterday. Commute was not as bad as the guys on the weather stations would have liked. They live for that hyped up weather disaster stuff.

    Have a great day!

Be glad to tune Connie's piano, Steve. Be forewarned--I will bite back if the dog bites me.

If this is the first tuning since you got it, it may require major adjustment followed by a $econd vi$it from the tuner.

Was up at 3 AM till 5, but eventually got back to sleep. Between election fraud/insurrection/national guard/COVID-19/global warming/ the expanding universe... I think my nerves are a little fried.

Heard DB's 1st wife died Wednesday. Pulmonary fibrosis. DB is worried about his son, who is still in jail in upstate NY for the DWI charges of a few years ago, and is emotionally not too well. He's the one who showed up drunk for his DWI court hearing and after deputies warned him not to drive home, got in his car and drove away. Dumber than dumb. I used to know the wife well, but havent seen her since their divorce 25 years ago. RIP

Waiting for my ham radio gear to show up, and ordered a book for the next level license. Haven't taken the test for the first one yet. did find a testing center open, but it's in St. Albens, VT, 4 hour drive one way. If it were summer I would drive there and camp a few days...

Rainy foggy and cold; I will catch up on laundry and cleaning today. Have a good one.

    Mornin' gents.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. The staff got pizza and an ice cream cake for lunch and lots of old man jokes. It was good. Lots of birthday wishes from other people I care about too.

Crappy rainy cold weather here. Going to get my workshop in order. Make my weekly run to local transfer station. We'll order out and eat in tonight.

Doing Slow cooker buffalo pheasant for tomorrow's game day (I'll watch some today too). Easy peasy. 3-4 pheasant or about 3 lbs of skinless pieces of any kind of chicken or game fowl. 1 package of Ranch dressing. 1 bottle of Frank's buffalo sauce. Add an onion or two. 2 tbsp of healthy oil. Low and slow for 8 hrs. Top with some crumbled bleu cheese on your favorite bun or wrap. Often, I just eat on top of some cole slaw or salad greens.

Not sure about the nutritional value, but its pretty low fat especially if using game fowl.

Sorry to hear about DB's ex, Mike. Pulmonary Fibrosis was my dad's diagnosis. Hope she passed peacefully.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning,
Health department called today to schedule vaccines, 22nd of January at 11:15 for the three of us.
30's and 40's today, too cold for for this southern boy; at least it is partly sunny
DW had an uncle who bit a dog back, never had an issue with dog biting anyone else, but was not much of a watch dog after that either.
Sorting through old photos, I'll put that up there with siting out counting cars on old gravel road. Maybe a gender thing because DD and DW will get boxes out and spend hours thumbing through old photos.

    Good Morning

Congrats on getting scheduled Sam. We are still waiting. Alameda County just set up online registration. Now you wait till they notify you. I assume we will end up at one of the mass drive-thru vaccination sites. They do drive-thru testing at the fairgrounds so perhaps they will do the same for vaccinations and just use a different entrance etc. Otherwise, it will be off to the Oakland Coliseum.

DWs back strain has developed sciatica. She is in rough shape after a long night. We'll call the nursing hotline at Aetna for guidance. I have 25 applications to go through by Sunday Night for Miracle Money to select my top 10 for getting one of the 8 slots which will get us a total of 12 awards. Not fun but sorta exciting.
