    Mornin' BBB.

Meeting the GF's parents? Are they engaged? Maybe that is the plan to propose in front of both sets of the 'rents.

Rogers and the Pack looked good. Tom and his jolly band of Buccaneers play Brees and the 'Aints today. A must see.

Prayers for your DW, Sam. Golly, you all have been through a lot.

Done made a house call and pick up some Chukar partridge for some training with Babe-alicious and The Woo Dawg (Tess) for later today. Back home sipping coffee and making plans for the day based around dog training. Probably not going to sit and watch the game, too much to do and get done.

Sun is shining and my SAD slipped away. Yesterday was bad. You would think with my northern European genetics, I would be more tolerant of cold, dank, cloudy weather. But DW has similar genetics and she hates the winter months too.

I am not diminishing the severity of SAD in some folks. I know it can be severe. But mine affectation is relatively mild, more of annoyance I guess.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • We have a new hot water heater, it works and does not leak. Life is good once again.
    • I don't know that I have SAD but I really don't like cold weather, brrrr.
    • At least Rourke has the sane GF.
    • Congrats to the Packers and Bills. Looking forward to the Bengay Bowl this evening.
    • I hope things are going well at your house Sam.
    • I'm off to tele-Church.

    Morning~

Meet the parents...... ha..... When DW met my DF for the first time he remarked, "....I can't make this wedding, but I'll catch you on the next one!" True story.

    Good games last night.

Off to salon later for Haircut; beard trim; pedicure.

    Cheers,

Good snowing morning from Wisconsin !

The Packers showed us some Packer Football yesterday! Woohoo. Looks the Christmas tree stays up another Week! (its a playoff tradition in Wisconsin for those with artificial trees)...

Speaking of meet the parents.... I met them about 2.5 years ago. 6 months after first date. And today....

..I have a date in two hours with the future bride and her Mom at 2 bridal boutiques for her first wedding dress search.

I'm happy I was invited along, with no daughters to share this experience, its a kind gesture. Private appointments with covid19 rules and all...

They found their venue yesterday and sealed their wedding date 9.10.2121

    Here.we.go. Fast track planning.

    Bring on those vaccines please!

Hope your DW is better today Sam!

    Be well BBB

    Good morning BBB crew.

You made that salon comment just for me, didn't you Skip? :D Enjoy.

Dennis, I picked up a thumb drive to copy files from the older laptop to the new one. My, how technology has advanced. The thumb drive I used in the past held 4GB. The new one holds 256GB. The old one took forever to load up and download. The new one copied almost everything on the old laptop in about five minutes. Wow.

We met our DDIL's parents when they were dating and got to know them well, long before the wedding. We have been blessed to have a great relationship with them. Heck, we have made three vacation trips to Vegas with them, and had great fun.

DW and I heading out for our daily 4-mile walk before virtual church. I might watch some football.

    Bengay Bowl. LOL.

If I had DW's family before we got engaged, I'm sure they would have talked her out of seeing me. I was just an educated redneck to them in the beginning. Still am, but they have grown to love me as one would an ugly mutt. Thank God she said yes before they met me.

    Good Afternoon,
DW's test came back negative for COVID and Flu; but she does have the crud; started Z-pack
We are scheduled to get our 1st vaccine shot Friday 22nd at 11:15
DS took DMIL out for supper last night which allowed me and DW to go for a meal to ourselves
I knew DW's parents well before we decided to get married, I had a little 61 Karmann Ghia that we would go off in then could not get it started to get home. DMIL would come tow car in which I'll park in DW's parents drive. Her dad would have to get my car running so he could get out of drive. He had a mechanics garage but generally refused to work on VW's. DFIL was a true individual, could make a complete sentence out of curse words but never heard him curse anyone, mainly vehicle or what he was working on.

Beard trimmed; straight edge shave; haircut; pedicure.....all in an overstuffed leather chair, watching the Capitals Hockey game and being served Lost Rhino Pilsner craft beer. Yea, I'm liking this place.
