Most of the northern zone is frigid with snow and ice.
@calvin20874 went cross country skiing. I have not done that in years.

Well I only had my 80's style snowskis but the poles were helpful. Got power back after 3 miserable days. No water yet tho. Unfortunately with a snow sandwich and temps in the 0's it was not possible to even walk to the end of my driveway. The one pic below show a water bottle. This is NOT a drift, 1/2 ice, 6 inch snow, and a HARD crust of 1/2 in ice on top. To take a step you had to PUNCH thru the ice. Very dangerous. And yes I did end up falling yesterday getting snow to melt for the toilets and my ribs are complaining like the wind was howling. The car tracks are from my manually opening my garage and backing my car out far enough to use to charge electronics and flashlights. My annual plants were in the garage and covered but I had no way to heat them more so I think several of them are gone. My mandevilla on my front porch looks like it may have survived. I am waiting until it stays above freezing for 24 hrs (Tuesday) before uncovering it. It has layers and layers.14

I was certain I would need a fourth (this time planned) pass day, but managed to stay under budget thanks to calories saved throughout the month.

Pass day 2....the day was kind of going well but by evening I just was in the mood for a bit more dinner than I’d planned for. And a few mini eggs (these might just be a British thing but they are delicious sugar coated chocolate eggs for Easter, nom nom). I think I’m not leaving enough calories for the evening because I am so BORED all day!! Lockdown is doing my head in. So I’m just about to write myself a long to do list for tomorrow to try and keep myself a bit more occupied and productive.8

Home now after a few days away – difficult days. Brought my son home with me yesterday so he could meet up with his grandma (my mum, who hasn’t seen him since September because lockdown and she’s over 90) and his dad (we’re divorced but still live in the same town) so it’s been a very emotional day. Chris is with his dad tonight and his dad will take him home tomorrow.
I’m wrung out now, hoping for a couple of weeks to recharge.
PS The crisis in Texas is making the news here. Reading your posts I know you are having a really hard time. Hope you get some improvement soon. Best wishes to all of you.

Today I exceeded my longtime water goal of 64 oz. I drank 72 oz!!!! Killer day. Also hit my calcium goal, protein goal and two servings of fruit. Just needed two servings of veg. Didn’t have enough calories or room in my stomach to fit the 2 veg though. Happy day!

Exercise - 1 mile walk on treadmill, 3.5 mile run (though I forgot to start my watch for the first 1/2 mile so only got watch credit for 3 miles 🤦🏻♀️).
