I have decided to increase my calories budget to 1,300. I have been a little over 1,200 in the past few days, so I'll listen to my body.
Yesterday was a perfect pass, I had eaten just a tiny bit less from my whole calories, base + exercise, so far so good.
Goodnight 😚☺️5 -

@SModa61 me too crazy cat 🐱
Yesterday I was outside and raked out a flower bed. My neighbor is putting his house on the market so I want my house to look decent.
New meds I am sleeping great. Thanks to all for your prayers and well wishes.
Yes x 3
I also took a nap unplanned one kitty snuggled onto my lap and 2 hours later. Hubby says I need to take more naps. I guess I am cranky after 5 lol.8 -

Now you speak my language 😁.
Had a nice day: biked to a park, where I met the boys for a ⚽️-game (been asking them how many 40yo moms 👩🦳 they see kicking it with their boys and they couldn't answer 😂). Luckily, my hubs gave up yelling like a wickinger each time he got the ball. I find that intimidating 😂. I still lost 🤷♀️, but it was tight! 😁
Biking 🚴♀️ back home was a little more challenging, though: without my son, I missed a turn (or at least I thought) 🙈, so did an unnecessary loop. Cold 🌧 wet my jeans, but the "best" part was when I saw ❄ (snowflakes) resting on my already sticky👖.
I couldn't stay put and did a little workout at home, so I am under by 300cal and only plan on drinking tea and water for the rest of the evening. So all good 🙌.

Exercise - yes!!! So excited to go on an actual bike ride outdoors after all my months of knee rehab indoors on the exercise bike. It went really well and actually I was only held back by my fitness (and my son’s, lockdown has taken its toll with zero sport for the kids!) - the knee caused no problems. We will go out again together on the bikes next weekend I hope. Also did some Pilates and met my parents for a walk.
Tracking - yes
Calories - yes
Today was Mother’s Day in the uk but I managed to stay under calories despite the scones I made my mum and despite the lasagne my daughter made me (well kind of - she is thirteen and never made it before so a slightly joint effort!). Also one of those days where I say THANK YOU UAC!! I do would have gone over calories of not for this group.7 -

Pass Days Used: --Since my 40 lb KB is taking some getting used to, I've worked out my expected progression using a drop set approach with my 25 lb KB. However, I ended off the first week and then started the second week by advancing my workout progressions faster than expected.
The calendar has been adjusted as of MAR082021 to reflect that I may end up doing 8 sessions with only the 40 lb KB (not just 3, as laid out in the original plan). Still aiming for a 30 min PR by month-end.
The number in yellow indicates the number of minutes taken to complete the workout that day

In a bit of a funk I can’t seem to shake. Seems to match the funk the scale is in as it’s been on the same basic weight for a month with no real progress despite being on plan and putting in all the effort. Getting frustrated but kind of too meh to actually be frustrated- does that even make sense? Lol. I’ve been upping my running mileage trying to get something to budge (mood, weight, etc). Nada.8 -

Thoughts for daily calories goalI need to revisit how I am handling my daily calorie goal for maintenance as I am “failing” in that regard as I lost another 3 lbs while “maintaining” during this month. Having two variables of food calories and exercise calories is challenging for me. In the past I have lost and maintained with less significant exercise numbers so it was more a single variable. I do not want to drop back on exercise as I am doing it for overall health and fitness.
Just use MFP to calculate my maintenance calories/day. Nutritional needs are estimated at 1590, and it predicts that with exercise, I would need 1862 for 1 hour exercise for days/week. Average Apple Watch TDEE for February was 2126. Average calories consumed/day for February were 1686. With three pound loss over the month, to maintain, I would have needed an additional 375 calories/day for a total of 2073/calories/day. So, my thought for March is to consider my daily goal, 1590 plus daily exercise, but, for planning sake, I will expect that number to be around 1900 calories.

*** First pass of the month used. Very much worth the treat – Went to Square Grouper and started with a Key Lime Martini with graham cracker rim (sorry @RangerRickL not the pie), shared appetizers of Flash Fried Conch with Ponzu and Wasabi drizzle (amazing!!), and Ahi Tuna and Avocado eggrolls with Asian dipping sauce, then an entrée of Seared Sesame Encrusted Tuna with Jasmine rice and Asian slaw, and finished with a cup of coffee and a shared Strawberry Nutella Bread pudding with warm butter rum sauce. Though I may not make winners circle at the end of March, I fully intend to end a champion.

*** So while I have already gone negative on my passes and out of the winner’s circle, I am caught up with all my check-ins and though my formal tracking has been off, I have survived these past 4 days. Tuesday was 123.2, then went out to dinner and jumped to 125.2, had another off day and increased to 125.6, but this morning I am 123.8 and I do not mind that. It is 3:17 PM as I type this comment, and I just finished tracking where I am at for the day, so that I can finish strong today. Exercise has not been a daily issue lately. Tracking and total calories have been my challenge. My final post will go up later tonight once the kitchen is closed.
