Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

@Katiecan2021 I have How to Make Disease Disappear in my cart. Thanks for recommending as it looks interesting. Do you have his cookbook, The Doctor's Kitchen, too? The reviews are good, but I was curious if you've made any.

Three yeses - but only because I’m giving myself a bit of a break and moved my goal to losing half a pound a week instead of one. I will go back to one pound a week on Monday but thought I’d enjoy a couple of easier days.

@lesdarts180 my thoughts are with you at such a tough time, I hope your grandchildren provide you light to get through this.

@Bovaryoo those are two different doctors, both British, I’ve heard Dr Rupy Aujla on a podcast - he sounds really interesting - but don’t have any of his books (yet!). Dr Rangan chatterjee also has a podcast, I’ve not listened to the recent ones as they are quite long and I don’t have the patience but some of his earlier ones are very good if you fancy a listen.

13th March: Wow can u believe its March already?

Exercise: I am going to be really naughty and use my cleaning as exercise.

Calories: Had to use my exercise cals which i dnt like doing but wen u bake delicious pies u hve no choice. Lol!

Tracked: Yes found myself picking at the pies tho so i won't be making them again as im clearly not ready for that sort of temptation. I did have enough cals left over to even it out!

I'm calling a pass day. I'm with my son's family for a few days and struggling with grief. My son is in hospital, had a fall last Tuesday, was taken to hospital and is still there. He has been having seizures and cannot come home until they're under better control and the house has been made safer. Unfortunately, the Covid restrictions mean we can't visit. Even his wife is forbidden. It's heartbreaking.

I'm getting exercise, walking, going out with the children.
I am eating reasonably, friends are inundating us with food, but don't know the recipes. So I'm having a break from tracking and calories.

I know I am not alone with these problems and extend hugs and sympathy to anyone suffering.

My prayers are with your family during this time.

    Happy Saturday!!
I saw this sign and had to laugh.
Although we are focused on Healthy Habits, this business is not.
    Good one :)

    This is interesting and educational.
