A lot of UAC team members really beat themselves up when their success is not linear. Healthy habits over a significant period of commitment will lead to success. Only a magic wand would change that reality.
Even though this graphic refers to money, it's just as true for weight loss and/or maintenance.

Happy International Women's Day! I thought in view of the overwhelming number of women on this challenge, we deserve some applause and attention! We are all wonderful!

I increased my calorie goal from 1200 to 1500 just to see if I will still be losing weight

@RangerRickL weight loss and progress are never linear. It's hard sometimes to see the big picture when you are in the middle of that diagram on the right but there are just too many factors at play for everything to always be linear. For instance this morning I ran 5 miles and I was slower than a dog (over 11 min per mile) and not even really trying to push it. Yet for my sprint workout all of a sudden I was running under 9 min miles. Of course I think it's the fancy shoes but my pace improvements are never NEVER linear.
@donna25trinity I have to say the nice part of maintaining and eating at a TDEE level is that you DO get to make sure you eat ALL the cals!!!!! And the bonus secret part of this is that you WILL have more energy and over time you will naturally be more energetic and active and be able to increase the TDEE more. (shhhhhh... it's a secret)
@Winner_in_Life congrats on reaching your CW9 goal weight! Not sure that bumping the cals up for just a few days will give you good data because see bullet above #1 progress is not linear. LOL.

A good day for me. All logged and a decent amount of food with ok choices. Exercise was yoga, abs and some crow pose practise between kids and adults Jiu Jitsu. Really seeing some nice progress in class at the moment which is encouraging. Part of this is the result of dealing with some of my mental blocks with a psychologist. My asthma is so much better, proving that it was partly mental as I expected.7

So I had something weird happen and wonder if anyone else has experienced this. I entered my lunch using my phone. Later, I went to the desktop and my lunch had disappeared so I entered it again. Then checked my phone, and lunch was in there twice! I honestly don’t remember if I was using safari or chrome since I use them both. But maybe that has something to do with it?6

Weight loss journey is like a very extremely complicated roller coaster, so many ups and downs, today you lost some, tomorrow will gain some. Whether you're dieting or not. Our bodies are really complicated!!

Exercise: yes, bike ride 35 minutes. Walk 30 minutes.
Tracking: yes
Calories: yes

I’m still avoiding vigorous cardio but I went out for a walk this afternoon as well as the bike ride this morning. Our current lockdown rules in England specify only one trip outside the house each day so I was breaking the rules. But I just walked round the neighbourhood and hardly saw anyone.
My arthritis is easing a bit, which helps with the walking. Thankyou for your kind comments.

@Mrs_Hoffer I missed you too!! I am not that competitive but I am a team player that likes to encourage everyone along the way. So let's get those challenges done!! I do like to achieve my goals tho, so maybe I am secretly competitive? Anyway...let's chase them goals!!8

Exercise - yes, lots of walking (not sure how long but have done 24,000 steps!)
Tracking - yes
Calories - yes just about
And three yeses for yesterday as I didn’t post last night.
Love the graphic @RangerRickL, I had to zoom out a bit from my progress at the end of Feb as I didn’t feel my weight was changing but sure enough it has juddered down a bit since then..I expect it will stay still for a bit and then go down again so long as I stay on track. This challenge keeps pulling me back to being on track whenever I start veering off!

how you feeling? - a bit flabbergasted. A close pal special day was a few days ago and she saved me a piece of cake. I went to visit her tonight and she took me up a bit of food where I had to tell her only small portions, I basically showed her the small bowl she could place all of the food in. I explained what I was going through (the calorie counting and everything) but that I would not eat the cake or food at her house but that I would have to carry them home, weigh them and it will probable take me about 5 days to eat the cake as I know that it has a lot of calories. anyway, came home, weighed it,(the cake) found the total calorie amount..... a whooping 1450 per slice, my goodness no wonder I am almost as bit as a house.
I know the amount of food I usually ate from her (almost 3-4X the amount in the small bowl) and the few times I had the cake because she was celebrating something I had a big dinner plate and the cake and ate both of them and followed with a 20 ounce bottle of Coke.
By my rough calculations, on those days with the food and the cake I was easily eating about 3000 calories in one sitting, and that didn't include the food I ate earlier that day. wow. I know I was eating a lot of calories, but 3000 or more never entered my mind.
p.s. I still had the cake, but I measured exactly 56 grams which equaled 207 calories
It will probably take me a week not 5 days to eat the cake15 -
