Hi there.
I’ve been on and off MFP for 8 years now, yo-yo-ed crazy in the same period. Last Jan I saw my surgeon for a right total hip replacement, and was told I was grossly obese and couldn’t have the surgery unless I lost weight. It tee’d me off. I sought out a clinic who helped me lose 44# ( HCG injections and 500 cal/day diet for 40 days.). It was doctor and nurse supervised. I got my hip replacement at the end of the first wave of Covid on June 23. Did well for a bit but then started gaining again. So this Jan I went back for another 40 days and lost the 20 I had gained back plus 18 more, and a total of 4 1/2 inches all around. I’m in my 3 rd week of 120 calorie maintenance and doing ok. I’ll be 65 in May and I’m still working.
Looking for ppl who can encourage me and I can support back. Anyone interested?? I have osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, hypothyroidism, and hypertension controlled with meds.
