For me, there is no better day than a day with horses and a child. Yesterday, Rose and I were accompanied by our very grown up 15 year old grand-child, Lucy. The weather in the desert was perfect!27 -

I am jealous .... No limitations for jogging. Every day one can take a different route. I am already fed up with the fields around our place. On the other hand I am happy to live outside the city, especially now
But I guess you have snakes there.... They are of course beautiful creatures, bit I don't have to meet them in open2 -

Yes cleaned out garage and also still working on setting up my home gym all whilst looking after bub. Didnt sit down till 8.30pm. I will continue to work on labour intensive projects on the house as i love how productive it is and also love how active it makes me.

Third pass day but this month I’m aiming for consistency so that’s ok.
Feeling better but not 💯 so took another slow day. Need to run tomorrow to get my weekly goal (which counts towards my watch and phone payment - if I got enough goals I don’t pay the monthly cost at all).
New app said I could do a medium intensity session today but it dropped down to low intensity again. Will see what it says tomorrow.8 -

Slightly better day. Had Zoom session with my Play Reading group, which always cheers me up no end.

My silver lining: I got an e-mail about the Summer Music Festival programme (July) from Radio France. This implies that they think there will be a Music Festival in July here in Montpellier. This really made my day! Busy booking the paid concerts and writing the free ones (lots of those!) in my diary. I 've got something to really look forward to!

I've not posted since Sunday and all the wheels seem to have fallen off. Literally - over the last few days I've let go of a few healthy habits and taken some confidence knocks. But...posting tonight to knock this on the head and get back on the horse.
Not only have I eaten some (way too much!) rubbish (and it all stems from the lovely dark chocolate Easter Egg my sister gave me) but I went to give blood yesterday and was turned away as my iron levels are too low (hmmm, maybe that is why i'm always so tired!!). I missed a vet appointment TWO DAYS in a row for my dogs vaccinations. I'm normally an organised, in control kind of person and I feel like I've just spun out a bit. So - tonight I have rectified one dropped habit and prepared my delicious overnight oats for my breakfast tomorrow morning. I have scheduled in 15 minutes meditation time to my work diary tomorrow morning. I have planned a walk with a friend tomorrow evening who always makes me laugh. I'm going to put time aside tomorrow to make sure I know exactly what is on my to do list both in work and at home. I think this way I can get back to where I was and feel better again and by doing this, my healthy eating habits will feel natural again.

That’s why I always mention that UAC has been my life preserver these past 3 years. It’s ALL about how to most quickly “get back on the horse!”
As painful or as scary as it is, each time we do, we figure out more ways to avoid the situation in the future...
fix the same situation if it happens again, etc.
Pretty soon we’ve identified our pitfalls, ways that work for us to get around them, and built confidence in our ability to be in control, NOT the food or the busyness or our emotions!

Today I'm having relentless "nerve" type pain in my foot, right around my 4th metatarsal (toe). I've experienced this pain once or twice over the last 4-6 months, but today it's quite severe. I had to take my shoes off and walk around in my socks at the chiropractor's office where I give massages, because the pain was too much with my shoes on. When I googled it, there is a thing called Morton's Neuroma where the nerve between the 3rd and 4th toe becomes enlarged and inflamed. Ugh!!!! I'm less than 30 days away from my 60th birthday and I feel like I'm FALLING APART!!6 -

Having house guests for the first time in 16 months this weekend and take out tomorrow night for dinner. Took the day off from work tomorrow to do several errands and clean house since I’m the type that only cleans when people are coming over and well... the pandemic 😅. So yah. Anyhoo, the main point is the first thing on my to do list after school drop off is getting a 5 mile run in to offset the excess calories from the Indian food we’ll be ordering and set a good tone for the day. Wish me luck!

Edit: To be fair to us - we’ve been spot cleaning here And there as things get rough so it’s not that bad, more clutter than anything... but there’s no cleaning quite like “cr*p relatives are coming from out of town” cleaning.7 -
