Kelly, what does "get the patio ready" entail? Powerwashing? I love powerwashing. There is something innately satisfying about doing it.
I had a really great almost 2-hour zoom call with a Coach friend in MO last night, after another really awesome (and deep ... I love the deep ones) WW workshop. It was a nice ending to a really good day.
And our deck has been started. The old one is gone, and the holes are dug. Unfortunately, the builder didn't believe us (since he knows everything) and also poured concrete in them, even though we told him that the inspector needed to check them first. The inspector is coming today ... we'll see if he makes them pull the concrete out. I'm sure that won't be a fun job for him, if so.

Von Maur shooting in December 2007 in Omaha. 9 dead. I was in the other end of the mall but still way way too close. It was senior citizen day 3 weeks before Christmas. That's a lot of elderly shoppers to evacuate.
On a brighter note the sun is shining and we get our vaccine today. Going for a quick bike ride then driving to Orlando.0 -

2 yoga classes today,
Got taxes completed yesterday, don't know why it took me so long usually I can do in a couple of hours; 5 hours but did have a few additional sources of income and expense; self-employment taxes stink especially since I'm already retired and social security/Medicare already set.
Steph, looking forward to visiting you and Ron in Blairsville this summer

Good morning BBB crew.
Those screen-covered desks make me treasure my retirement even more.
Took a forest hike with the grandkids yesterday. Great fun was had by all. Covered three miles, which took more than three hours. Lots of stops. That's the best way to hike with young kids, though. You have to let them investigate everything; you can't hurry them along. We really love that they are growing up with a close relationship with the outdoors and nature.0 -

I get my 1st vaccine today too, at 1pm. Drive safe Steph and Ron.
Oh boy, you guys are set up in your offices for sure. I'm here at home with my laptop and a 4"x5" calculator, no tape. I have a nice desk though, cheap printer, and two windows with a view. I'm Good!
Still no word here if a company buyout, closure or status quo is going on with my company. Each paycheck is appreciated.

We powerwash our deck about every other year. I bought one a couple of years ago and figured that if I got three washes out of it before it crapped out, I was doing well. I think I got that.
You are lucky to get somebody to even show up to do your deck build. I hear lots of complaints about that.
We just got a granddog yesterday. Now we are up to 3 grandcats and one granddog. No bipeds yet.0 -

- Congrats to Steph and Mary for getting some vaccine. Our Gov. just announced that vaccinations will be open to everyone 16+ starting on Thursday. There is hope in the air.

Patio cleaning entails power washing all the concrete around pool and patio. Getting all the furniture and umbrellas out and clean.0 -
My Xsil pharmacy tech just reached out to offer anyone vaccine today or tomorrow even if they are not in the Wisc. Groups allowed vaccine now.!! They have xtras to use ASAP.
With that the bride to be is getting one this afternoon with her!! YAY.

My pressure washer is 17 years old, I use twice a year and DS is always borrowing it; first few years really got used because I was building a few houses every year.
I'm glad I only know how to use one computer or screen at a time.
