I started this group because, let's face it, IBD can make life harder than normal. Sure, people who are on weight loss journeys can relate to one another, but our conditions present another set of challenges that other cannot relate to. After being misdiagnosed twice, I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2014. I had re-sectioning surgery in 2015, and I get Remicade infusions every eight weeks. Hopefully this group can be of help to you.

    Are we the only ones with IBD? I was diagnosed with UC last summer after being hospitalized for severe diarrhea. I finally got into remission with remicade, but it stopped working and I was back in the hospital where I got c-diff. I'm on entyvio now, let's see if that works. I am still trying to regain the weight I lost, and still anemic, then I'll be back to writing down every bite again. I still have to be careful in the mornings to be near a bathroom. I sure hope entyvio works as well as the ads promise.

    I hope more people will join this group. IBD is a lonely illness.
