If you are new and want to join in, by all means, please do - we love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
4/2/21 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)

I'm back after my birthday weekend. Was good fun but everyone brought me food which I now have to find new owners for >_> I said I'd challenge myself to actually log e v e r y t h i n g this month after my holiday so here we go.

So I've logged three days in a row which I've not managed in ages so mini goal there lol. Was under two days and over only a teeny bit the other. I think when I was guessing without weighing I was underestimating calories so badly lol. Oops! Next goal is to drink more water as I suck at that. I've bought a little light that attached to your glass or water bottles and flashes to remind you to drink throughout the day to help!1 -

Well, that was honestly the best case scenario considering I basically had a cheat week with lots of exercise. I'm kicking it back into gear this week as I am 12lbs away from my mini goal of 215 for life insurance. I'd like to hit that sooner than later! ๐ช๐ช๐ช0 -

I honestly thought this week would be way more as I logged everything and was under all days except two but hey ho! Going to try even harder for next week as I've floated around 290 since January and want to see some proper 280s1 -

Woohoo. I am proud, but I did a fasting day yesterday so I imagine this is mostly water weight and I expect this number to go up again. I will, however, enjoy it for the time being ๐0 -

I spoke to my doctor about my weight lose for the week and he said I am cutting back to much so I need to add more cals so this week I am going to try and work on eating better1

Woohoo, I hit my goal weight for the month! I'm working put everyday and eating healthy. MFP suggested I eat more, so I am giving that a try. I feel like I should be losing more, but I'm just happy it's a fairly consistent decline. I'd love to lose 2lbs a week...0 -

Gained 1 this week, but i'm not totally bummed. Had an overall loss of 7 lbs and have started to work out more consistently. Looking forward to progressing more in May :-)

I'm so happy to see how well everyone's done this month! This was yet another bad 2021 month for me but it had some strong good sides that can't be seen in numbers so much. So 1st, I set the goal to actually log everything this month (which I hadn't managed in a long time). I logged almost every day which was a step in the right direction at least. 2nd, I'm an alcoholic and a lot of my calories come from drinking. This month I got my drinking down from daily to 2-3 times a week which is a first in like 15 years so I'm insanely happy with that.
Next month my goal is to continue to log everything but actually stick within my allotted calories better and get my drinking down to 1-2 times a week.
So! Whilst I'm bummed out by the weight loss looking crap I'm actually still amazed I managed to quit drinking constantly and am hoping to move forward into May and do better.1
