    Good morning gentlemen.

I managed to mow the lawn, yesterday. The hand seems to be doing pretty well. I can do very light things with my thumb. The index finger gets in the way. We're already in the season when we have to mow twice a week, so I'll get lots of practice.

I actually tuned in to see the Derby.

DW says she wants to drive somewhere, today. Sadly, I have two different Zoom meetings for church groups.

    Good morning.

Dave, looks like we had our watches synchronized, we both opened roll call at the same instant. You're up earlier, local time, so I'll give you the credit.

Was hoping my backache would be gone, but still hurting just as much. Went for a short walk late yesterday in the wildlife area--it's not very painful walking, but if I turn a certain way, then ouch! Getting in and out of chair or bed is hard, too. Thinking maybe a new mattress is in order, or one of those mattress toppers... Won't be wrestling the canoe on and off the car roof for awhile.

Sunny and warming up to 70º hopefully. Church this morning, then hang out with DS this evening for awhile.

    Good Morning!

Mike, we love our sleep number bed. You can change the settings for how you feel. We have had our bed now for at least five years, and I do believe it has made a difference. When my hip hurts, I up the stiffness of the bed, and it helps reduce the pain while sleeping.

My weight is up three pounds this week. That sucks, but gains are bound to happen. I'll stay with what I have been doing to lose, and the scale will go back down.

Yesterday, I bought a new Trek ebike. I love it! This will be a great exercise tool for me, and fun too! I cannot believe how much the battery assist helps. I went five miles yesterday, which in "the old days", would have been a breeze. I slightly over did it yesterday. I need to work back up. I'll take it easier for a few days Trek has some really cool bikes. We bought in at entry level, which still set me back about $1800 with sales tax. I think it is a very worthwhile investment..

Lawn mowing and week whacking on my list of chores today, along with laundry, dusting, and a few other odds and ends.

I also downloaded the app Calm several days ago to help me with meditation. I love it! I am starting my mornings from a much better place now.

I've been experimenting with a lot of different things lately to help me feel better. Some are helping, some, I don't know if they are working or not. I've got so many going now. for example, the supplements, and the CBD oil. I think that when one runs out, I'll see if I start feeling worse again, or not?

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

We have had a sleep number bed for 8-10 years now. Still love it. I can keep it firm enough to support my back. DW sleeps on a very low setting.

We watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail last night since it was available and it seemed appropriate. It is almost 50 years old now. Wow!

The back is slowly leveling off. I can still move better which is the best thing and sit down fairly comfortably and read etc. Hopefully the achy muscles will improve. I still have to ice a couple times a day or more and we keep the TENS handy. Today Heather wants to go somewhere (so do I). I have to register for a virtual Dulcimer Festival at 1:00 which makes it hard, but if I can find some WIFI I may be able to make it work. Perhaps I will skip streaming church this morning and watch it later.
