If you are new and want to join in, by all means, please do - we love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:

Name: (if you'd like to share)

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)

Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
5/7/21 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)
5/14/21 =
5/21/21 =
5/28/21= (final weigh in for the month)
Total WL/G for the month= total weight lost or gained for the month

It was also suggested that we could track our measurements at the beginning of each month to see how we do there, so feel free to add those too this month!

    Well, I’m back after a year or more hiatus from MFP. My weight has been gradually dropping, but not fast enough for one of my docs. I’m at an 8-year low and maintaining through plateaus of medical issues, so I’m pretty happy with the current pace, but you can’t please everyone, I guess. I’m here to see what my current calories are and how they respond to tweaking. This group was the most positive and focused in the MFP-sphere 🙂 so thought I’d drop back in, if that’s ok.

    LTGW: 235 for a BMI of 35. New goal per this doc, old goal was 180 or something for a “normal” range BMI.

    LTGW: so I want to get to 190 but right now my mini goal for my self is 299 so I Know I can lose 64lbs, I know I can do that. I keep telling me self I am do it and I will do it !!!!!!!

    I weighed in today and was 326.7! Super exciting. I know the start always yields the most significant weight loss, but it's encouraging all the same!

    Hang in there @StacieBugPrude , sometimes our bodies take their own little “maintenance breaks” for a couple weeks or a month or so. It’s a good time to keep practicing those new habits that will keep the weight off life-long. Scheduling in maintenance breaks has been the big difference for me between not regaining and continuing to loose on this last go-round in my weight loss journey. Don’t lose heart if the loss slows down, just reframe your point of view a bit. Your hard work is still paying off!!

    This GI bug has really taken a lot out of me. Finally managed to stop losing weight today compared to yesterday, still trying to up my calories. Had my intake with the medical weightloss clinic this afternoon, they had some good advice and were happy with my slow and steady loss (this month is not typical!!) They gave me some updated calorie and macro parameters, and will check my A1C. I’m to send in weekly summary average screenshots from MFP and follow up in 4 weeks.
