    Good morning.

Busy weekend planting flowers. Had a long list and got almost everything done. Still need to wash the windows.

Hope you’re all doing fine. So much to catch up on.

    Morning~

Rookie mistake,........used pool all day and determined I didn't need any sunblock. Ugh! I look like a steamed lobster!

Rain rest of week in the forecast. Ugh.

    Cheers,

    Morning BBB

Raining again this morning. Not sure our plans. May just strap on the rain gear and go for a hike.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Hiking in the rain can be fun, as long as the wind isn't blowing. Sideways rain ... not so much.

The hand continues to improve. Still not good enough to get back on the lathe, but I'll try to do some shop cleanup, after we run some errands, this morning.

    Mornin' BBB.

Time for the aloe vera Skip. Ouch.

Sounds like you got some dirt under your finger nails, Kelly.

Have you ever gone dancing in the rain, Steph? Sorry, Gene Kelly just popped into my head when you mentioned going for a hike in the rain. I was exposed to lots of musicals as a child.

No news on puppies. Maybe later.

    Good morning BBB

Careful Lou, you may attract the hungry hyenas with that stuff.

Deck installed at the lake and l did a lot of raking. The kids were a great help to Tom. Photos on Facebook if you want to look.

Two different new neighbors stopped to say how great everything looks & how glad there are we are there. That's so nice. Unlike the old neighbors on the previous block. Lol

So glad we bought this lake property last fall. Inventory is way down on the lake. Lots of sold property and old cottages sold with monster homes going up.... prices high too! Lots of Illinois residents buy up lake property in Wisconsin. Many Wisconsinites are annoyed by that fact lol.

What kind of flowers did you plant, Kelly?

Tom's 60 on Thurs. and dsgd to be Angel is 14 on Friday. Big plans, for both, separately this weekend!

Summer temps here, in the 80s the last and next couple days.

I need to get to my home office now. Work sticks. So many secrets, that arnt secrets at all. Frustrating and annoying. I will ride it all out, from the lake, preferably!

    Be well BBB!

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • ROMEO group continues to grow. We had 15 this morning. Not back to pre-pandemic levels but getting there.
    • In our 'hood Lou we don't buy doe pee to lure deer. We buy coyote pee to keep them away from our flowers.
    • Woke up to rain this morning and there is more coming. Good thing I have a new book to read.
    • May your flowers bloom prettifully Kelly.

Hi everyone! It's been a busy week. To catch you all up,
    * Thursday night we had our 2nd vaccinations. Jim got pretty sick during the night and stayed that way for about 12 hours, then it recurred LAST night. That's the first I've heard of that happening! I had a slight headache and have been a bit more tired than usual, but nothing major.
    * Friday night we hung out with the pastor who used to do our service, and his wife. His wife still sings with us, but last night was her last night. He'd like to start another recovery service somewhere else, but it sounds like he really hasn't done anything to move in that direction. When we started talking, he really is clueless about the logistics. If he decides he's serious, I can make things happen. We'd be a good team, I know. For now, he's going to Washington state to do an interim pastor gig for the next 3 months, so we'll probably talk more in the fall about it.
    * Saturday and Sunday we had Baby J while his parents went to a wedding. I love that little guy! And he loves his Papa ... which totally melts Jim's heart. All our kids and grandkids so far have been Gramma's, but he is smitten with Papa.
    * Last night we had the 2nd to last service. The guy who's running it now announced it to the group, but it reminded me of a WW change announcement that was all spin and politics and very little info. He just said that they were moving it to Wednesdays in the fall instead of Sundays, and that there'd be some format changes. He never mentioned that it's the end of our worship team's part. There was a guest pastor, and he and his wife were floored after the service when we told them that we were done next week ... they totally hadn't gotten that from the announcement. I'm going to post a little thing on our fb page later this week just inviting people to attend the last service this Sunday to see us off. We'd love to be able to say goodbye more fully.
    * My WW workshop this morning was a challenge ... something's up with our internet, and while they could see and hear me just fine, I couldn't see or hear the members most of the time. How awkward! I had no idea how they were responding to much of it.

    And those are my updates.
I know I'm late, but happy birthday, Lou! I'd hug you if I were there ... I know you're such a touchy-feely kinda guy.
