    Good morning.

    Can’t sleep. My sister is really struggling. Seems as if we need a lot of prayers right now. I don’t have time for the nonsense my dads family brings.
    I continue to get more information of how horrible a person my dads wife was. He was going downhill last week and had a hospital bed brought in. My sister tried to call him and I tried to call him on Tuesday. His wife never told us so we couldn’t see him in his last days. Oh well. Can’t change it now.
    Sorry about the venting.

    Busy day today. That will help.

    Vent. That’s what we do with friends who are here to support and uplift. So sorry.

    Headed to airport. Chaos begins today. Weather forecast still quite ominous for weekend. Ugh.

    Ds1 called annoyed his had a stone hkick up and hit he windshield on his 2020 Jeep Cherokee. Spidered crack across it. Uugghh.

    I'm off now until Tuesday and I'm not checking in or looking at email, I promise! Ha.I'm gone fishing!

    First on list this morning is seasoning my new Blackstone griddle! Then I'll do a little garden work, pack my bag and await on my honey to get home at 3pm, and we depart.

    The first guests are in the new to us guest popup camper this weekend. Monday, my brother a his crew will come see our new place, on their way home from a lake airbnb rental they have not too far from us.

    I hope everyone has a good weekend!

    9 days out to tour happy couples wedding brunch shower here, For 35. Yikes, that came Fast! I have too many lists!

    Mary enjoy the lake. We won't make it up to see it this summer but maybe next.

    Kayaking was fun but definitely uses some muscles that hiking doesn't.

    Tried out my new hiking shoes on a 13.5 mile hike up to the snow line in the Olympic Mountains, yesterday. The shoes passed.

    Skip - they said the transmission seemed to be okay, so I'm going to take cars off my list of pending big ticket items.

    Eye is starting to look better, but I'm still wearing glasses.

    Sorry for your loss Kelly; I have learned through life that a death and major sickness always brings out the worst in family.
    Lou, hope eye is feeling better.
    Emmaus breakfast this morning, then eye check; had to dish out many dollars for new glasses that insurance only covered part. Said we could talk about cataract surgery but could wait till next year, decided to wait.
    Rheumatologist tomorrow, it's bad when one looks forward to shots in joints.

    Yep. Got a bunch of texts today asking for money. Nope. Also, our pastor arranged it that my sister and I went alone today to see him. No funeral and family drama for us. It’s a s h i tshow. Ha. I wonder if that makes it thru. I nearly threw the f bomb but once again took the high road and in early got a nosebleed because it’s really high up here. Ha.

    Mary. I got a blackstone for Mother’s Day and I LOVE IT. Let’s get a date in the books.

    DAVE you’re an inspiration to me with all your long hikes. Way to go!!

    Lou, that eye. Is it painful??
