Gym suggestions?

Hello guys!
I live in Rockwood but I work in Knoxville and would like to start going to a gym in addition to my running. Do any of you go to a gym or have you gone and hated it? I see bad reviews in terms of contracts from National Fitness Center and The Rush, but you cannot believe everything you find on the internet. Haha. I would need a gym that allows a month to month basis and that is my only stipulation. I would also prefer it be in West Knoxville but if not thats okay. Thank you!

I am pretty sure that the rush is doing a promotion right now to where you can go for free once a day for the month of September. I have a few friends that do WorkOutAnyTime, sp?, and they like it. It also seems to be fairly cheap.

I've had multiple people tell me that The Rush is an awful place. I went to the Ymca on Winston and applied for a scholarship. So I'm joining Monday

I have never had a problem at the Rush. Anytime I have ever had a question or problem they have been super helpful. Then again, I have heard a lot of people not liking it also.
