    @mypinkbikini WoW! 7k steps on almost every day of last week is super good! I hope that you are getting better sleep now and adjusting to the changes that are going on with you. Having a salad everyday for lunch is a good goal, and yummy too 😋.

    @Deeder522 you are pushing through this month like a champion with your mileage and challenges etc! Excellent!


    My goal for this month will once again be to keep moving by using the rebounder, walking (mostly) indoors, using the Gazelle, or working outdoors🌻 🍂. I'll also count extra cleaning, only if it is something more physically active/ or more challenging for me at this time.

    Had a good week but can't hardly believe it's been nearly a week since I last posted. and knocked out 7500 steps 5 out of 7 days. Only had alcoholic drinks 3 days. Going to leave that step goal in place for another week cause it was a stretch for sure but a doable one. Didn't swim at all- gonna add that to this next week when I'm up to it and the weather cooperates.

    The weeks go by so fast with me just trying to learn and absorb and eagerly getting home to my husband ASAP every week! I am excited to announce that in 2 months we will both be relocated and emotionally that will be so good for me! But I'm also scared to relocate because I don't really feel confident in my new role yet and I have so much to learn. I hope I'm feeling more confident when we get all relocated as that would be the best of both worlds. My weight has not moved at all the last couple weeks and that was after gaining nearly 10 lbs this spring. I think it's a combination of stress and maybe more alcohol than usual and some really good eating out the last week in May and first in June before I left for my new job.

    But in the meantime, I'll walk, eat well, and hope the weight loss follows soon.

    I am having a very lazy month! I just have no motivation to work out for some reason. However, I am still losing COVID pounds, which is the good news! MFP says "You can't out exercise a bad diet," so for now, sticking to my MFP calorie goals is working! I can make good excuses for anything can't I!!! :blush:

    @Deeder522 I have heard about the rains in MI and the potential for some serious flooding. It is such a double edge sword because MI needs the rain badly ... just not all at once! Take care out there in GR!

    @AnnofB Oh my gosh, I wish you lived closer so I could give you one of our DVD players as we have amassed 5 of them!!!! :smiley: We had 3 in MI (one of which copied VHS tapes onto DVD that I could use for work) and we had 2 here. 3 belong to us and 2 belong to our son, but no one needs 5 of them that is for sure!!! :laugh:

    @mypinkbikini Do not worry about not feeling confident at your new job as I read it takes most people 12-15 months to really feel confident after any job change. It actually took me 2 years before I was sure I knew what I was doing or who to call when I was not sure. Learning who is who and what they do takes a very long time I found! You'll be fine!!!

    If any of you are in the northwest, my heart goes out to you. I have no idea how you are all dealing with the unprecedented heat, but be safe.

    Big hugs to you @mypinkbikini! It sounds like you have so much to deal with right now. I am glad to hear you were down to 3 alcohol drinks last week. Drinking can sneak up on you and it actually adds quite a bit of additional calories on to your day. I am sure you will begin to get better acclimated in your new role and once you are relocated, you won't have to race around to get home. Be kind to yourself as you learn your new job as I am sure you would be kind to someone else who was learning. Sometimes we are harder on ourselves than we would be to others.     Oh my gosh you are so right!!! Every one of our DVD players works differently and has its own remote!!!! That is why I just carry my laptop to my workout spot and use it. It works the same all the time!!! :laugh:

    Thanks for being so sweet. Yes I have walked every day in that I have gotten out of bed and walked to the coffee, cleaned the litter pans, made dinner etc. But I have not done much "strenuous" walking that is for sure. :blush: My motivation is way off so I am changing things up next month. I am going to focus on strength and not miles and see if that ignites my desire to work out. Sometimes, we just need a change of pace. At least I have not quit and that is half the battle!!!

    @AnnofB yay for your DH rescuing your DVD!! Well done 👍. Look at it as a brain game puzzle to relearn a different DVD player😵. Ha Ha now I'm showing my age. Every thing difficult or different I think of as an opportunity to exercise the brain :noway: . You are doing great on your goal!!

    @Deeder522 we also have had surprisingly more rain lately and recently its been shown as 7/9 days with rain possibilities. Which is good for here as we were already in stage 2 drought restrictions recently. Now whether or not it rains we at least have some hope that it might ☂. I do hope that you can fit in at least some outdoor walks in.

    @mypinkbikini Look at you getting in 7500 steps 5 out of 7 days and more days without an alcoholic drink. Good for you 👍💖 . You are in a stressful time but it will end soon and you will be surprised at how well it all comes together after these beginning weeks are behind you. I am really proud of you for what you are accomplishing and learning. Also relocating and starting an new job is never easy (I definitely know that one) but it also strengthens us and helps us grow. Remember to also be good to yourself during this time. Your health and weight goals will even out as life evens out for you. Hugs 💗🌼.

    @zichab That is awesome that you are losing those Covid pounds! Leslie also said something about about not eating more that what we are burning during exercise, during one particular stronger walk. I could almost hear her while I read your post 😵😁. Even though somebody on MFP said the same thing :laugh: . But you have a plan and even if you're not doing what you originally planned for exercise, it sure seems that you have been active enough to kick some of those Covid pounds to the curbside.

    Lol, I just read @AnnofB comment next, and she said the same thing! See.... you got this... and are doing great!!

    Also... well done, even if those are every day normal activity miles... you are still up and about getting things done!! Changing things up next month might be what will work for you. You can do this!!

    6/6.....38 minutes of yoga, 15 minutes of Burn to the Beat
    6/7.....40 minutes of Walk Off Fat Fast

    6/8.....35 minutes of Strength & Stamina, and 20 minutes of Jessica Smiths 4 Mile Power Walk
    6/9.....rest day
    6/10...35 minutes of Walk Strong with a band
    6/11...35 minutes of 3 Fast & Fun Miles
    6/12...39 minutes of Candlelight Yoga, 33 minutes of aerobics
    6/13...rest day
    6/14...36 minutes of weights, 18 minutes of Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan

Every thing difficult or different I think of as an opportunity to exercise the brain :noway: . You are doing great on your goal!!
