    Morning~

Weather continues to "predict" one thing - but deliver entirely different! Able to squeeze in a few hours of Pool time late afternoon with DW and a few cold Miller Lites! Ahhhhhh

Continuing to watch the Key's forecast and hope we don't get rained out on the few days we have to spend down range.

Love the idea of Tess helping decide who comes into the pack!!!

Coops got groomed yesterday.....the anesthesia is really hard on him. Not sure how many more of those he has left in him. Ugh.

    Cheers,
    Skipper

    Mornin' BBB.

Mr Cooper. Poor fella. I know it takes me longer to recover from a bender than it used to.

There was a killing in our little sleepy town of Litchfield Monday night. Some guy confronted a lawyer in the Law Office parking lot and the lawyer put a bullet in his brain. DATS. Word is the lawyer, in his sixties, shot the guy, 39, in self defense. Don't mess with old men, they will kill you.

    BBB OP ;-)

Wow Lee, disgruntled client or What?

I'm heading into the office when I'm done with having coffee outside on my deck as I post this. May take a couple more hours. Lol

Lou, are the rents really high$$$ in Austin?. As well as homes for sale too?

Dave looks like a nice birthday celebration at your place last Night!

Poor Cooper, he obviously doesn't do well being groomed? Didn't know a groomer could administer such to dogs...?

Hows kid sitting going Steph? Bet its great to be back with the family for a Bit! Hows your Dad Doing?

Kelly, been thinking of you and your sister...hope all is as well as it can be

Mid June is almost here. Wish time would slow down a Bit!

    Adios! Have a nice day!

Not a client per the official statement from the law office, but evidently they knew each other. The shooter is a real estate lawyer. No word on the relationship of the victim to the shooter.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Glad we were able to squeeze some time in with DS, Monday. He has a spread sheet with all their planned activities through September. There is hardly a moment of open time. The engineer. I was always more in the "It's Thursday night, what do you want to do this weekend?" kind of planning. Never felt the need to schedule fun, just let it happen.

I ordered a book by your recommended author, Lee, on preparing for and then bringing home a new puppy. Going to start my homework.

    Good Morning,
    HAPPY HUMPING!
Dave, I believe it's the younger generation, my DD is planned out several months also; wait till their children are older and schedules have to center around sports, church and school.
I do not know about Austin, but Atlanta and out this way prices and rents are up over 30%
Hope Mr. Cooper is doing better today
    Busy day, off and going

    Good morning.

Home prices and rents are both rocketing, Mary. And that's not helped by the 30% city tax increase these morons voted for last year. The land use ordinances here are kinda dumb which doesn't help things.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Hang in their Coop. The price we pay for looking good.
    • Our Pastor was re-assigned to a town north of Atlanta. He's having a heckofa time finding a house. Offered $25k over asking for one and didn't get it. That was unheard of here until this year.
    • We have a community coffee chat this morning and then off to Milledgeville for a haircut and supplies for next week. I hope I don't have to get anesthesia.
    • Anxious to hear the latest work gossip from WI.

    Morning BBB

Kids are all at Bible school so went for a run then will take the little ones to the museum later.

Our pet sit in Arizona just went from 3 months to 2 so need to decide what to do for July. Will look for a new sit or maybe just an airbnb. Would like to get to Idaho sometime so maybe there.

    Good afternoon
Rained off and on now it’s MUGGY out. Purely miserable. I won’t try the pool. It’s probably cold anyway.

I just joined WW online. Digital 360.
I need to lose 15-20 pounds. Packed it on during covid. Who am I kidding? I packed it on to pack it on. Back at it. Err. I won’t go up a pant size. That’s my motto. Ha.

Thanks Lou... Ive heard Austin is pricey from ds1 too. He would so like it there,, just needs his salary to cover the living expense increases..

The housing trend is nationwide.. we'd love to make a 100k in these 6years in this home. But where we going to go?

I spent the day with the old and new owners. They close tomorrow. They have some ideas, and keeping me on is 1 of them.. if I'll stay. And help them grow the product line...
Xowner as part of deal; works with us, for him,, under my brand for a yr. min. here in WI with me this summer, then he'll work out of his $850K+ house in picturistic St. George UT in the winter... New guy will keep the 2 company's separate but we colaborate on whos quoting who what...and utilize eachothers mfgr resources (i.e. manufacturing some stuff we do here down south with he and his vendors is cheaper than we can here in WI. They save on some cost aspects that his company can offer us, buy some common material both use in bulk, and both company's drive selling prices up in tandem ... so in theory we are still competing.... while bottom line is he is cornering the market... Ex. its like Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, and Kitchenaire are different brands, all owned by the Whirlpool Corp.

If he separates from me for any reason he pays out the bal of my current 12month salary. He claims he does share profits with his employees and plans to with me/us left here in WI too... Asked my concerns???... ..how about the fact you're both absentee business owners with no real business plan on how to actually implement growing this product line? .. Your engineered custom manufacturer s with no enginneer in either company?..that raised some eye brows....lol. Well thats what "we" will do ..get a plan, implement it... okay so define "we", lol. Right?
I really have nothing to lose, so I'm in for a year min.on my end.. see how this plays out. I can work remote M W F. And theyd like me in office Tu Th. Etc.

So... I can leave for the lake Thursdays and come back Monday night, work from there  I'm keeping my current benefits and earned pto, thats 5weeks of vacation I'm using between now and year end.. He will do a phone plan or a stipen for my current phone. Im taking the new phone upgrade and work plan, duh...He will sign and extended our WI office lease til Dec 31, next week after tomorrow's closing.

I'm going to roll with it, not whine moan complain about it, and just do what I can to contribute, but I'm not going into 60 hour work weeks either. Nope. Sorry Xboss, whom has reaped the benefits without working with us these last 20yrs, you can now step up.
