Working Out while a Diabetic

Hello everyone, hope all is well. I have been a diabetic since 1999. As I get older I am finding out my mid area and feet, (hips) are getting tighter and tighter. I do a hip mobility routine before I work out but it doesn't really help a lot. I workout 4 days a week and do cardio about as much. I am attempting my first power lifting meet in September and this is a hurdle I need to get over. It is causing problems with deep squatting. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to fix it?
