The music festival finished yesterday. I've really enjoyed going to various venues for often 2 or 3 concerts a day. I got my exercise in, walking from one place to another, I mostly stayed below calories, I think, but I didn't log.
Started tracking again today and signed up for UAC's August Challenge. I can warm up for two more days in July. Talking of warm ... It's hot here and my Yoga class is almost closed, swimming pool full of kids, so it'll be hard to get the exercise in ... 7am walk or bike ride!
I certainly do not qualify for the Winners' Circle or even the Champions, but congratulations to all of you who made it and a big thank you to all of you who kept this challenge going in July. I was most happy you were all still there after my brief absence!10 -

We're on holiday for a few more days, getting plenty of exercise but I've not been tracking the food intake. I'll find out next week whether the food outweighed the exercise.9 -

This morning, I tried running again for the first time in ~2 weeks. Just three short spurts where one of those was a 5 minute hill sprint. Since I walked the rest of the day for almost 17k+ steps and my groin didn't fall off or act up, I figure I'm on the mend 🤷🏾♀️ Just in time for August's 10,000 kettlebell swing challenge!

Walked 1, ran 3. Did not feel great, it felt like I was being hit by a truck. It also totally messed with my GI system and while I finished my run before 10am my tummy was not settled enough to eat or drink until 3pm so I was over hungry and the peanut butter got me. Letting myself get too hungry really is a recipe for disaster. Only 261 calories over though, so still a deficit for the day. My tummy is usually a problem if I ramp up distance or speed too quickly, but today was normal 3 miles and slow so I’m not sure what the deal was. 🤷🏻♀️
My inlaws are spending the night tomorrow but I’ve prelogged my day and shouldn’t have an issue staying on plan.8 -

@MaltedTea I took a look at your 10k swings kettlebell workout online the other day.... VERY impressive! You are certainly an inspiration! That workout is waaaay over my head, but I'm going to start small and go from there!7 -

What a day of activity! Cardio/Strength plus the active stretching. Lots of farm activity/chores and moving almost all day.
Calories: under my limit

@MadisonMolly2017 and @WhatMeRunning, Thanks for your posts on the MFP Challenge Board UAC promotion.
@Mrs_Hoffer in the past, I would begin the MFP Challenge Board promo one week before the end of the month. Since I did not start until July 26th, I'll keep it going for a couple more days.

@RangerRickL good to know, and thanks for doing that. Also, I'm thinking that in future months we may need to begin asking for WC names prior to the last 3 days of the month. We have several people that only report in every few days (not daily), so we're not exactly sure where they stand if they don't self report. Just thinking out loud.1 -
