August is over and shortly on the heels of that will be the close of summer! But we've had a very good month in the UAC!
27 new people signed up for the UAC in August. Only 6 of those were still posting by the 26th day of the month.
@bradkcrew , who was a newbie this month, has completed the ENTIRE MONTH with 0 Pass Days!!!! Huge Kudos to YOU!
In fact, I believe that we have 4 people who are finishing the month out, having used 0 Pass Days!! What a HUGE accomplishment!!

So tomorrow, (Sept 1) is a new day - a new month..... a new slate!!

I was feeling a little frustrated that even though I’ve made the winners circle, I felt like I hadn’t lost any weight. I just went back and checked. I’ve lost 2 pounds this month and I’ve had my goal set to lose 1/2 pound a week. So bingo, spot on. I think I’ll up my goal the first 2 weeks of September to 1 pound a week. We’ll be on vacation the last 2 weeks and I’ll adjust it to maintenance for that time.10

So 2 pass days to far, I may not finish with 0 pass days, but I'm happy to finish it with two only 😁😁.
My accomplishments for the month:
- being in the winner's circle for the second time.
- finishing my 310,000 steps.
- no binge eating for 29 days.11 -

A pretty decent month overall. I probably did not get as much running mileage in as I wanted but I was quite happy with a lot of the times (pace). We have pretty much been locked down again with Delta and I fear it will continue on at least another few weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Sept!7 -

I think uou need to change your posting template @victorious55 because you do not always go nuts on nuts. I admire your strength on this — 23 days free this month is a huge success for a nut lover (and yes, I know from personal experience what it is to LOVE nuts 🐿🥜🌰).

@SummerSkier I wish we would get locked down here — Delta is out of control, our vaccination rate is the lowest in Canada, schools go back tomorrow, the ICUs are overloaded, all non-Covid medical procedures have been cancelled, and our provincial government still won’t bring in a mask mandate. Very frustrating.
@Mrs_Hoffer - you are truly a wonderful leader for this group. I don’t remember seeing pass days posted by you and believe you too are in the Winners’ Circle? Your goals for August were tremendous and the changes you brought about have caused you even further success! Thank you so much for all you do to encourage us all. 💛💐💛6 -
I feel very blessed as August turned out to be a surprisingly good month. Not perfect (plantar fasciitis flared up when trying to run again). But outside of that one small thing, everything went far above and beyond my goals/expectations.

Finished with some yoga.
This is my first full calender month counting calories after having a baby and I feel really happy with my consistency. I also got back into running and am now back up to 25 minute long runs at a time. Hoping to be on regular 5k runs by the end of September.8 -

I've had a very good August as well. The scale is finally moving again for me - I've lost 5 lbs this month! Gonna try to keep the momentum going in September!8 -
Such awesome work by everyone we all had a variety of goals and it seems that we all did a nice job getting to the accomplished or in my work world attained status! What’s your goal(s) for September?
Mine are to read at least one book I did finish mine this afternoon in the sun after work, to ride my mountain bike i would like to get to the double digits with it and to hit my goal weight I am close.
I tracked logged and stayed under today I even got in a 53 minute 2.46 mile lunch time walk.8 -
Exercise: 4 mile run this morning and 5 mile bike ride this evening. I didn't get to the gym for my weight circuit as planned, oh well...tomorrow!
