August 22nd
Yes to all questions.
Pass Days: 0
Calories to burn: 36,960.
Eating less made me binge eat more frequently. Right now, after 22 days, I'm starting to crave some food, but I still feel like I can have control. While I couldn't stop myself before.
Goodnight to you all, closing early today. 💜💛
@thabit11 two things to try. Increase your cals by 100 per day.. try chewing slower and savoring. Better to have 700 extra cals per week then bump onto the rollercoaster again. Just some thoughts. You could also add variety to the menu.

We all need to have rest days @snowshoe072 , having a day that you relax is a good idea! And not having a particularly troublesome item in the house is a pretty darn good idea too! :lol You're doing very well!!
@thabit11 the only thing I might add to what @SummerSkier said is to take a look at your protein numbers. I lowered my calorie goal, but increased my protein by 25-40g/day and it's made a world of difference in my feeling more satiated throughout the day. Just a thought.....4 -
@WhatMeRunning - This: “ You have to "want it" therefore you have to find the ways to make it pleasurable to you and not punishing.”
All of this.
This is why I buy myself mini goal rings and subscribe to StitchFix. While I’m not totally all about clothes and dislike shopping (hence the styling service), wearing a pretty dress or ring that didn’t fit six months is a visual reminder of the “win”. I DO like winning. Probably too much. Lol.9 -
✅ Exercise (yoga)

Today was good. I thought it may not be with the mood I woke up in. A decent work out help only a smidge but walking at the mall and actually finding 2 new bras that really fit well...How can a girl's mood not improve!10 -
A three yes day today for me. One pass day used so far.
Hit my protein goal for the first time in weeks!

Exercise:
I bought a bike recently after not having one for years. Went out geocaching and rode over 10 miles, but it was a lot of stop and go, so I can't really consider that exercise. Came home and walked 3miles/43 minutes. Back to running tomorrow!

I spent most of the day outside on the farm. Lots of walking and horse related activities. Non-exercise activity was hooking up the horse trailer and practicing backing and parking the horse trailer. Like most physical skills, practice is necessary.
Calories were well below maintenance
Tracking is okay6 -

✅☑️✔️❤️(Sleep was especially great)
A fun day with friends…ate what we brought & got take out that was moderate in quantities & calories.
Was concerned about not getting in my walk so climbed the grandstand steps several times & walked a bunch at the racetrack & then took off for another 5K steps while my husband did some me handicap work.
A real success. Very pleased.
I plan to make the most of the next 9 days 👍😀🎉6 -

Re: not being too hard on oneself…
Yes … and no.
Yes…. always be respectful to yourself. Speak to yourself with the compassion you would give a friend or a child who is practicing. Kind support.
No, because sometimes we need to stop a “runaway train” … we do it because we love ourself. But we have to do it to meet our longterm goals. So just as the above, we do this as we would for a friend or a child. Kind, yet helpful…identifying root causes, ways to fix them, and holding oneself to one’s own commitments.
Kind, supportive, yet firm.
Some may consider this being “hard on oneself.” But I say gaining all my weight back would be being “hard on myself.”
Sometimes we have to do what we don’t want to, but know is best for us.5 -

Exercise at least 20 minutes? Yep. Rode my bike this morning. 72 minutes and about 13 miles. I did discover that my Runkeeper app seems to not like it when I pause it and then take pictures using the phone camera. The app shut down. The first time I thought I accidentally shut it off, but the next time, I specifically and carefully, paused the app and opened the camera. When I closed the camera, and called up the Runkeeper window again, it had reset. I was frustrated because I thought my time was messed up. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that each time, the app had actually saved my rides.
Did I track everything? Yep, I did estimate on some of it, and I just hope I didn't underestimate by too much.
Did I eat within my calorie limits? Surprisingly enough, I did. I hope. From my ride today... I can't think of how long it's been since I have seen the jimson weed (aka devil's trumpet aka loco weed) blooming in such profusion. I was a bit concerned that there were some plants in the pasture with the horses and burros, but all three animals seemed more interested in the other greenery.
From my run yesterday:
