Pass day #3 yesterday, pass day #4 today.
Kiddo’s COVID test came back positive and so many phone calls with the country health dept ensued I was not prepared for. I am stressed and exhausted and apparently the queen of excuses.
We had to cancel several day trips and an overnight we had coming up over the next couple of weeks that he’s been looking forward to for months. He can’t go back to camp this summer. He’s just so sad and it’s making me so sad.
I’m very whiny today (and this whole week I think?). Apologies friends.

Another successful day today as I was able to fight off an attack from double choc chip ice cream! I swear it jumped right into my hand and tried it's best to attack me! But I prevailed and lived to tell about it!11 -
@Mrs_Hoffer If I had to be attacked by something, I’d like it to be ice cream! Good job fighting it off!7

Epic upper body workout + 6km walk 😊7 -
Exercise: I found a break in the flash floods and hit the road. 40 minute run, torture as usual. I felt I was barely moving at one point, but posted my fastest mile fastest 5k to date, and farthest distance in 40 minutes to date, so who knows? Oh and I signed up for that 15k last night and today my oldest son told me he would run with me.
Tracking:
Calories: No problem with the calories but after my run I guess I was experiencing a low blood sugar period because I did that thing where you circle the kitchen opening and closing the refrigerator and cabinets over and over incapable of selecting something to eat, growing hangrier by the moment.

@mshawski I am so sorry about your little guy’s positive test result. Hoping he recovers completely and quickly. 💛 Take good care and be kind to yourself through this time.2
-
Yes x 3
@mshawski So sorry. Is your kid actually sick? It may be a false positive and worth a 2nd test elsewhere. Also, sometimes a more specific test is in order for kids who are ill and may actually show a different sickness (like rhinovirus as opposed to covid).3 -
Got my exercise today, tracked everything, and am probably going to get one of the red notices as my calories are too low. Still don’t have the hang of this, but I will keep on working at it.

Forgot to post Thursday evening, but another pass day. Didn't quite get my 12,000 steps but I did do a good 30 minute walk in the evening. I ate far too much, felt uncomfortable after lunch. I don't like that feeling any more, but we were rushed and I wasn't taking note of how full I was getting until it was too late.
Going home today.7
