    A late post too warm and humid worked in office today and it got me. Tracked logged and walked 1.9 miles at lunch

    This topic is convicting 😬 Thank you, everyone, for having shared because I see myself in your experiences. Also @RangerRickL, I love Rose more and more each time you post about her!

    While I still occasionally emotionally eat, that is now restricted to reacting to particular stressors. As of this year, however, my brain has been able to catch myself more often.

    Perhaps that's because I now take notes when catching myself emotional eating. That way, I can open Google Keep notes and realign myself to do something that will be actually helpful in that moment. And that something is rarely eating as a reaction to stress.

    So, for @Jana_2020 and anyone else feeling challenged by emotional eating, I hope your stressors reduce (or you are able to see them differently) and that you find a better way to fuel yourself helpfully to deal with the experience.

    Yes x 3 today. I worked in some strength training which has been a new goal for me. Slowly I'm getting there!
