Good morning
I’m up early. Lots to do today.
The birthday party planning is moving right along. Big 80 for my mom.
Someone cancelled cleaning last thing yesterday for first thing this am. I was lucky to fill the spot. I’ll be working a little later today now.
Stromboli’s for dinner!! Yum.
Question? How often do you eat out? Around here all prices have skyrocketed. We are trying to eat at home more. Looking into buying an outdoor kitchen without the grills. We already have those.
What are your dinner plans??0 -
Morning~
Late night (Nationals v. Marlins).....too much for a "school/work" night.
We eat out about the same - cooking for two of us - we end up throwing away more in leftovers....although we've started to become creative with roasted chicken (chicken salad; Caesar salads; etc) - which is less expensive.
I love the outdoor kitchen idea. Lots of our neighbors have done this and the designs are amazing.
Lee - how you feeling?
Dennis - hope this heat isn't bothering you too bad! Another scorcher today.
SGM - ready for the yard sale?
Mary - glad MKE got their championship!
WITW is Raine?

Good morning BBB crew.
Still preparing for the garage sale (I have a tough boss). This will actually be a driveway sale. So we will stage everything in the garage - with the car parked outside - then move it all out in the morning. I expect two very boring days. I am not looking forward to selling my wood turnings. Not going to give them away. They are priced appropriately, so I don't expect many sales to the extreme bargain-hunting crowd.
Also selling my old fly-fishing gear. Kind of sad about that, too, but I am never going fly fishing again, so someone else can enjoy it. Nice vest, boxes of flies, rod and case, reels with extra spools for various lines. Some great memories represented by that stuff. My fishing, now, is done sitting next to a lake, not wading in a stream.0 -
Morning BBB
We only eat out once a month on average. We do grab coffee or a cocktail semi regularly. Since we don't eat meat or cheese anymore I think our grocery bill is less than it used to be.
We spend roughly $300/month at Costco...not all is food and $200 at the grocery store. Plus mail order balsamic at $30/month and Ron's mixed fruit & nuts $25/month.
The last two homes we have been at had outdoor kitchens.0 -

Skip, "cooking for two of us" do you not feed DMIL; is there some way I can get out of feeding my DMIL?
