Good morning gentlemen.
Today is our last day hosting our DGD's cat. He's an affable guy, very un-catlike in many respects. I am not a cat person, but old Tchaikovsky is OK, as long as you shut the door so he can't walk across you at 2 a.m. He adopted our granddaughter when she was an infant, actually sleeping in the bassinet with her, and he still sleeps with her every night.
After working for several days on a large urn, I screwed it up, yesterday. That peeved me. I was adding some critical beading details and the wood chipped out. Now I have to figure out a way to hide that mistake. I think the urn will go in the loft, while I do something else for a while. It's all a learning experience.0 -
Good Morning!
Sorry about your urn, Dave, but you do have the right attitude. You cannot learn new skills without making mistakes.
Hopefully our head dome breaks today. It has been way too hot. The rain completely missed us, so now it is also getting very dry. With a dew point of 75, they say it is almost impossible NOT to rain, but somehow it misses us.
I'm not sure what we have on tap for today. I have to take the cat the to vet at 9:00. Beyond that, we don't have plans.
Have a great day!

Up early today for early wetland ride. Very quiet and warm. Lo temp close to 75° at our house 74° anyway. Yikes.
Sorry about your urn Dave.
Our 100° day yesterday didn't happen because the clouds rolled in early. Got to 95° and stopped but didn't cool much at night.
Stay safe and enjoy the day.0
