    Awesome Brie!

    Okay, check-in as promised,
At the gym I weighed 162lbs
    BF% 29.9
Do you think I can lower it to 27.9% in three weeks? I'd like to!
I'm going to keep track of cals burned again:

MinMin, I got curious about how many pounds I needed to lose to achieve my BF% goal, so I looked around and found this calculator. I cannot confirm it's accuracy, but my result seemed realistic.

    I'll check it out Brie!

Hey, I loved that link. My goal weight would be 157.5, that's a loss of 4.5 lbs on the scale. The other calculator link I posted includes body measurements. I'll play around with that calculator as well.

So figuring out my 2%BF equates to a loss of 4.5lbs. Of course, that will all be fat, if I lose 2% on the bf tester, not just 4.5lbs on the scale.
Anyway, 2% is what I am going for.

    So 4.5lbs of fat is 3600cals X 4.5 = -16,200 calories
If I burn 12,000 cals exercising and I have an average 300cals deficit per day this month (-6300cals) then -16,200 and -6300 is 22,500 calories burned.:smokin:

Can I expect this math to result in at least 4.5lbs of fat burned off of my body? LOL
How do you like my fun word problem. I'm going to give this a go!!:drinker:

I'm back. for now. My dad has been seriously ill so I've been out of town a Lot, and lots of bad eating.
I will get all my measurements together and I'll use the handheld machine at work on the fat % in fact I will go do that at my next break!

Congrats to those that have already seen some good losses!

I'm in. Since I have a quality engineering background and am trained in Six Sigma, I'll be weighing daily and making a control chart. This accounts for "normal" variation in the measurement system which in this case is my body and the scale. The goal is to be out of the control limits at both the beginning and end of the months. SW, 171. I've been losing 3-4 lbs/month. Here we go!

 That is just too, too through...but good tracking

Well, halfway+ thru the month and I have totally switched gears! I am not on track with my original plan at all. I started a weight training program, on week 1. How is everyone?

I'm in... now that I've been cleared for activity by my orthopaedist, I can finally get something done hopefully!

Starting at 163.4 as of this morning... 2 lbs is my goal, though I'd love to shoot for 4 lbs. I'm also shooting for 10,000 steps per day on my FitBit and at least 30 mins exercise each day. I got my 30 in this morning at physical therapy, but I'll go do cardio later also!

Good luck everyone! WE GOT THIS!!

OK, so this morning I was at 161.0 lbs. Hopefully the trend will continue!
