    Good morning gentlemen.

Bad night sleeping. Got about four hours, I guess. That's not much, even for me.
We're one week out from puppy day. Then I'll have a better excuse for not getting enough sleep.

Hope all the aches and pains out there, are improving.

Spent some time in the shop stitching up a sheath for a knife I made a few months back. I have no real use for the knife, but it was fun making it. It's that way with a lot of things I make.

    Good Morning!

Dave, I know that sleep deprivation is no fun! I hope that you find a way to get more sleep. That sounds really cool with the knife. I admire your shop skills.

I have been feeling better, and more productive. I am not 100%, but WAY better.

Lisa's husband did not have COVID, so we have our office manager back. Yeah! Still really busy at work. The boss gets back late this afternoon. That will also help.

    Have a great day!

    Good mornin'

Rainy here but not the 10" expected--Fred veered off into western NY. Now Henri is possibly heading for Boston this weekend.

I now have 2 weeks of backpacking meals made... trying to figure out where to go, and when. Wish I could go backpacking, but my CPAP gear is still way too heavy, even though I cut out nearly 200 lbs of lead batteries. So it will be car camping if I stay in a campground, or canoe camping if I want to get into the wild. Looking at a nice campsite I can reserve for 10 days on Lake Matagamon starting next week. It's a 6 hour drive and then a 5 mile paddle from the boat launch. "Fully equipped" with outhouse and picnic table, with a nice view of the distant mountains in Baxter State Park, and a south-facing shore to recharge solar batteries. Hardest part is cut-all-your-own-firewood, although there's loads of driftwood along the shores... Probably would stay in a motel before and after the trip, to not wear myself out.

    Mornin' gents.

Wow, Mike. That is an awe inspiring view.

We got about 3" over night and now its stopped and its partly cloudy. Dog training got called off for today. The decision was made yesterday. I miss it.

Got DS#2 in the house and we'll go play with the pups somewhere.

I have lots of computer work to do, so I will not be without anything to do.

Roasted some okra. One of the 6" plus pods was very tough. I think it was the one I most recently picked too. Roasted with a little olive oil and salt and pepper. Very tasty.

    Prayers for Johanna and Collin.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning

Beautiful view Mike, that would draw me back again and again

Phone calls today to take care of a few things that have piled up. I can't say I miss using the CPAP, but I found out it could take 6mos to a year before the recall can repair or replace all the units impacted. I doubt Medicare will buy me a new one but that is one of my calls to make.

Smoke and air is getting worse, so no walking for a while.
