I was out for the day (going to the theatre in Bath) so I got lots of walking but both lunch and dinner were estimated. So, I don’t really know whether I went over my calories.
But the weather was good, the city was lively (picking up post Covid) and the play was excellent, so it was a good day.On a more personal note, it has been a horrible couple of days. The 9/11 remembrance articles have been full of children losing fathers, young widows, mothers losing sons. Obviously very different circumstances but listening to other people’s pain has been heartbreaking. Also, on this weekend last year we had our last family holiday together (celebrating my 70th birthday). We had a great time in spite of Chris being sick and we didn’t know then it was to be our last time all together.
My heart goes out to you @lesdarts180 ❤️ Yesterday’s events were triggering for many and your grief is still so new. Be kind to yourself. 🥰1 -

Got a call in the morning from a daughter needing my help. Her husbands family is in crisis mode since his dad died from Covid last fall and his mom is having mental health issues. So I spent the day at their home with my grandkids so they could attend to things, didn’t get home until 8:30 pm. I didn’t go as far over on my calories as I thought I did, but there was no formal exercise. That’s ok, I’m glad I was available to help.

YAY !!! I am beyond my halfway mark to my Goal Weight Range....
I weighed in at 189.8 on July 1st 2021 ... I am now at 170 lbs.....
only 15-19 lbs to go to my Healthy Goal Range of 150-155

Great topic; it's something I work on constantly.
As for the diet plan:
Every day this week, I woke up and said some positive affirmations. One of them was"Today I will stay within my calorie budget." Monday to Friday was a bust but today I finally made it. And only because I skipped breakfast and ran errands for 4 hours. But I'll take it!
