    Lots of concerns about Covid. My sister is positive and Salem, where we picked up our new puppy, is a hot spot. Didn't know that when we took our grandkids, there. Now DW is consumed with worry about that. We're staying home from church, this morning, just to be cautious.

    Still focused on Sassy, too. I will bear scars from those sharp little teeth. She gets very mouthy, when she is excited, and she gets excited a lot. Teaching her to focus her chewing on chew toys, not me, is a primary goal.

    Good Morning!

    I had trouble sleeping last night, so I have already been up for a while. Allergies are working overtime, which is not good if you wear a CPAP mask while sleeping.

    I'm not sure what is going on today. Probably groceries and yard work. Oh joy!

    Good Morning

    We are in for another nasty hot day with unhealthy air from the Caldor Fire. We are off to Berkeley later to pick up lunch from a place we like and head up in the hills to Tilden Park for a picnic. It is 30 degrees cooler and AQI is better by the Bay. We hope to visit a small botanical garden the park district maintains if it isn’t too crowded, though folks in Berkeley are pretty good about masks and distancing. Otherwise we will drive a bit walk a bit before heading home to the heat.

    PA called last night cartilage where fibula attaches to tibia is gone, recommend allowing leg swelling and fluid to decrease then need to see orthro, there is also scar tissue where I ran chain saw through knee about 32 years ago.
    Slept through church and Sunday school this morning, face more drawn and droopy. Did get lawn done yesterday, need to find some tomato and herb plants. Tomatoes were plentiful but getting leggy and quit blooming, for some reason my herbs decided to die. DW picked beans and DMIL picked okra for me.
    Planning on being back to yoga classes tomorrow.

    Puppies are a lot like babies, just grow up faster
    We are seeing a good many come down with COVID who had vaccines at beginning of year, some going back into lockdown. I can see no rhythm or reason as to who is getting virus, even some who have not been out. Will get booster when available. Hospitals in state at max capacity.
