It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may he built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ Ephesians 4:11-13
I am so glad that God prepares us for whatever situation arises to do works of service for Him.1 -

I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because you love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hand. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. Psalms 63:2-51

Isaiah 54:10 NKJV
For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.1 -
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away and every branch that does not bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:1-2 May we see the pruning that God does is because He loves us and is making us more like Him.1

Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise. Proverbs 15:31 I am reading a book on building community among the church and this was the verse that started the chapter. It is hard to take correction if it is shame based and makes you feel condemned and unworthy but if the correction is done in love and with the idea that you are still accepted by the comunity and we will learn together, it is much easier to hear.1

I love this scripture. What more can we ask for if He is with us. Family and friends can leave us but He will never leave us or fail us. He is the strength we need to make life decisions for health.1
