It will get cooler as we travel south. August is our coolest month here. I will have to discard tropical clothing for warmer gear in the next day or two.

High of 104F (40C) and low of 72F (22.2C). The crickets are chirping really fast tonight so it must still be hot. I have heard that the chirping will tell you what the temperature is by using some formula I have forgotten but I do know they chirp faster the hotter it gets.1
