Thank you Susan, yes we had 1 day where it was improved, where we are in early morning it is better for air quality but from Mid Morning to sundown it is a 4 right thru the overnight which is a health risk on the air quality index,

A 4 to 6 reading is a Health Risk for Breathing as you breath in the Particles from the Wildfires.

Our temps today have been 80 degrees with a Smoke covering and Air Quality Index is 4 a Health Risk for Breathing due to the Particles from Wildfires that are inhaled!

Stay in cleaner air inside, Judith. I hope you have air filters on your air conditioning unit.

    24C - 11C (75.2F - 51.8F)
    Humidity 54-95%
    Partly cloudy

Thank you Susan, yes my AC filters out what shouldn’t be. It’s a great AC in which I am so thankful! 😊

Today our Air Quality Index reads a 5 Moderate Health Risk for inhaling Particles from the Wildfires in BC, a reading between 4 to 6 on the Air Quality Index tells us it’s a Moderate Health Risk for those with Lung Diseases and overall is a threat and risk to your Health! Anything above a reading of 6 is a Severe Threat to your Health!

There is smoke covering our Community-Skies with Temps of 71 degrees. Thank you for those who are praying for us. I’m praying for all of you who are experiencing and have Wildfires in your Community! 🙏

Judith - does wearing a mask help at all with removing the fine particulate?

HIgh of 84 F (28.8C) and low of 64F (17.7C) with partly cloudy sky. Ragweed pollen will decrease tomorrow and help with those people with this common allergy.

We have a low pollen count today (a 2).

Judith, so glad to hear you have good air conditioner filters.

Linda, do you get affected by ragweed at all?

Partly cloudy with a high of 91F (32.7C) and low of 65F (18.3C). There were some huge thunderheads over the mountains as we drove but I don't know if they got any rain from them.

Linda, to answer your question, Not sure how the mask really works but wearing the N95 mask has helped me not to have a scratchy throat which causes me to cough. When I wear the surgical medical mask it doesn’t work the same as my N95. Thankful I have some left.

Today we had Smokey haze and the air quality index was reading a 5, think it was a 6 later in day and it was hot with temps at 85+ degrees, tomorrow it can be as hot as 90 degrees!

Judith - yes cloth or surgical masks probably would not work as well but the N95 are helpful.

High of 91F (32.7C) and low of 64F (17.7C). Humidity is high with the rain that we had. It is 35%.

Our temps are high 91 degrees with Smokey haze and our Air Quality index tonight is reading a 5.

Yes Linda, I agree on the cloth and surgical masks. The N95 masks are best for putting a barrier against the particles that are so dangerous to inhale.

Thank you Susan, today was a little cooler and I stayed indoors pretty much all day, I had to go out to recycle and garbage room which is outside in an enclosed locked area where I put recycle in the bins we have and then to garbage but was only outside about 10 minutes. Long enough!

Our air quality was reading between a 5 and a 6. So it was high but my Son and his wife live near the fires and the smoke is heavy his air quality reading was a 10-11 which is very dangerous.

    Thank you for praying!

thanks Susan seeing actual clods after so long almost for got what they looked like, hope weather clears for you, We had rain on Tuesday but not enough to give us better air quality! It was supposed to rain today but it didn’t, think it did in other communities!

Cooler temps in the 60’s and air quality in our area is reading a 4!

I heard it was 96F (35.5C) here in Grand Junction but we were not here when it was that hot. It was a much cooler in Vail because it is 3000 feet higher than we are. Right now in GJ it is 79F (26.1C) and clear.
