Good morning BBB crew.
Feeling very fall like here. Stormy much of the night: wind and rain. Must be miserable out on the fire lines, but at least the danger of fires spreading is passing. I remember well mopping up on fires at the end of the season, wading around in wet ash and hearing the sharp hiss, when you introduce hot spots to the rain.
Sassy is going nuts around me, showing a chew toy who is boss.
Still can't do much, myself, with a severely strained groin muscle. Probably watch some football.0 -
Morning BBB
It has cooled down a bit in Arizona too. It wasn’t even 100 yesterday. I actually don’t mind the temps here. Except for the day it was 117 it really isn’t that bad if you stay out of the direct sun. We hike early and stay indoors midday. By early evening it is pleasant again. There really is something about low humidity.
Today we are heading to a farmers market that offers 70# of produce for $12. I see salsa in our future.0 -

DW picked 2 buckets of green beans yesterday, during rain had a good many pods of okra get hard because we did not get out and pick

Morning (err)......
Had a great time with our Vet Tech and her better half last night. Despite losing the game! ugh.....
Today has been busy w/ tearing down and cleaning my Weber grill that DF decided needed to have more butter and higher flame on during last visit. That led to cleaning out inside of shop vac. That led to power washing deck furniture. Ugh.... "My guy" is at school this semester.
Bristol racing tonight. Pool this afternoon.
