    Morning~

Rain rain go away! Internet down everywhere - so had to scrounge through my car seats like a broke 20 year-old to get cash for SBUX this morning. Ahhhhh the struggles! Then had to figure out how to drain water off the pool that is at capacity. Good grief. So much for just enjoying morning coffee and easing into the day!

HOA's are annoying. HOWEVER, necessary. I love serving on our Design Ctte - but remain stymied with the amount of blatant disregard some have for their neighbors. Typically, these are the chowderheads who drop a dime on others with the caveat ".....I'd like to anonymously report someone." Gimme a break!

Trivia tonight w/ my visiting nieces as a local brewery. Should be fun!

C'mon, weekend! Tomorrow I get the new iPhone! Yippee!!

    Good morning.

I'm packed and ready for my trip to Bastrop for our donor event over the next couple of days. There should be some decent booze there.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Pastor at our church asked me to turn a communion cup and plate in a particular style. She offered a commission, but I prefer to make it a gift to the church. The pressure is on, though, to produce something nice. I'll probably do a couple sets, in different woods, to choose the best. Something to do when not on puppy duty.

    Morning BBB

Going for a bike ride with the neighbor this morning. Hopefully she doesn't go too fast for me. Thus will be the first time riding hills in forever.

I didn't know pools didn't self level. I guess we have always been somewhere hot so they evaporate as fast as it rains.

    Mornin' BBB.

Home today. Waiting for the delivery of airline dog crates to send DS#1 and DDIL's dogs to Germany. He is already in Germany with his unit. DDIL is leaving with the dogs in October.

Am sorry. I'm too much of a farm boy to deal with an HOA. If I want to have chickens, then by gawd, I'm going to have chickens.

Be strong on your ride, Steph.

Can't wait to see the result, Dave.

    The struggle is real, Skip.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Sounds like a good mission for you Dave. Enjoy the work. I know they will enjoy the result.
    • You have an interesting life Doc Lee. Living out in the country with the hunting dogs and then the occasional trips into Manhattan. Almost sounds like Green Acres.
    • Enjoy Bastrop Lou. I had to look it up.
    • Enjoy the ride Steph. Something tells me you will be able to keep up with her.
    • A neighbor is taking us to dinner tonight. A thank you for some computer work I did for them.
    • Vroom. T-2.

    Good Afternoon,
Knee is bruised bone and arthritis, shot in knee said should be better in a couple of days go back in December. Will have to see another specialist for hand and wrist next week.
HOA's are necessary evils in communities with small lots and to protect property values.
Dave can't wait to see turnings
I could see Lee as Oliver Wendell Douglas

Hi Everyone! MAN, it's been a week! But I'm looking forward to Bible study in a few minutes. Quick updates:
    1. Still working on all the crap about my stolen identity. I have a feeling this will last a while. And I HATE paperwork.
    2. New microwave is installed. It took removing a board and modifying some screws, but it's there and working.
    3. Jim is healing. He's still sore, but not in excruciating pain like yesterday. We went to the orthopedic surgeon today, and unless the rotator cuff is torn (which they won't know for a while), he won't need surgery. PT will start in 2 weeks. I have to drive him to work tomorrow, since his car was left there when I took him to the ER yesterday. It's about 40 miles each way.
