Working through tennis elbow

I've had tennis elbow for 2 months now. I had it massaged and didn't work it at all for a week. For the next two weeks went really light with front rack stuff, rowing and such. Still struggling to keep it from firing back up on me. I do wear the arm band support recommended for this. Have any of you guys been through this ? Any suggestion would be appreciated, thanks
