Good morning BBB crew.
Don't know what happened in any games. It's 4:35 and I have yet to check any news sites. I get up on Sassy time.
Oct. 12, 1962: the Columbus Day Storm. Used to be an annual news story about the biggest storm to ever hit the Pacific Northwest. Hurricane force winds blew down millions of trees, ripped off roofs. I was in 7th grade. We were out of school for a week and didn't get power back at the house for more than two weeks. We camped in the living room, where the fireplace was. Mom did all the cooking on the Coleman stove and in the fireplace. It was a major disaster, but has faded away to a footnote, if it's mentioned at all.
On that historical note, I'll depart to see what we great about the game, last night.0 -

The knee still hurts. I'm thinking maybe gout based on all the meat I ate this weekend. Advil, ice packs and time will tell me if I'm right. If not, I have a Dr appointment on Thursday anyway, so I'll add it to the list.0 -

Smoochin' up Babe. Can't wait to hear about Larry's training. I think he and Lucy would distract each other if they trained together. She just loves to play. She may be going to Geoff soon for gundog puppy basic training. I have done some introductory work, but I'll let Geoff bring the hammer down. He is so good at it. The pups don't really feel any pressure.

I've gotten it in my toes before. Usually same trigger - lots of meats and beer in a short window of time. I went pretty light on alcohol this weekend, but I'm pretty sure I had about a side of beef.0

- Our Tuesday Morning Emmaus Meeting turned into a breakfast at the local café. That's what happens when the leader takes off to work the election polls. I guess his county is voting on something.
- Got the car washed on the way home.
- Happy Birthday Mary, or should I say birth-month. You've been celebrating for awhile.
- Skipper is so hip. I had to look up SMH. I guess it doesn't mean Sarasota Memorial Hospital, he said while shaking his head.
- Lou, you must be coming a 'man of a certain age'. We have to write down our check list to talk to the Dr. about.
- The BBB kids (pups) are getting ready to start school.
- Lots of good pitching in these posts-season baseball games.

I signed up to be a hair model on salon apprentice.com. They are mostly in major cities and I just update as we move around. I get a free service and have an afternoon of fun. She did an OK job (her second day with clients) but Ron said” doesn’t look any different than when you do it”. Took almost two hours but there were two trainees and only one instructor so lots of down time. Didn’t even think to take a picture.
Super windy here last night…the pool is a mess. But pool guy comes tomorrow so we will not do a great job cleaning it up. It’s also cold. Going to have to layer up for our hike.0 -
