    Good morning gentlemen.

Up early on Sassy time and got to take her out in a steady rain. Great. On the other hand, she just gave me a loving gaze with those big brown eyes and licked my hand before lying down at my feet, so it's all good.

Sassy has a shot at the vet, this morning, and we have a pumpkin carving thing at church, this afternoon. That's our Saturday.

    Good Morning!

For the most part, I am feeling better, but I am not well yet.

I am going to try to rest some this weekend.

The carpet layers are coming out on Tuesday morning. Before that, I need to take out the old closet door, restain the new closet door, put in the closet door, put in the base boards, and move furniture. That is still a lot to do. Putting in the chair rails, curtain rods, shelving units, and furniture back where it belongs, will all happen after the carpet is put in.

We are also getting close to our first frost of the season. Time to get the big potted plants into the garage, and under a grow light.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

It sounds like Sassy has aclimated to rainy weather.

I just got my Covid results back which were negative as expected. Good to know, better safe than sorry. I am starting to feel better as well. We have a big rain coming tomorrow, over 3”. When we get rain an inch is a big day. I will have to get out and clean the patio and clear the drain to minimize the lake that will form. Not much planned today beyond resting to get past this thing.

Just got back from getting Sassy her final lupin and her rabies vaccination. What surprised was her weight. She is 14 1/2 weeks old and is now at 29.4 lbs. With Lee's rule-of-thumb estimate that adult dogs will weigh twice their weight at 16 weeks, it seems Sassy is destined to be a bigger girl than her mother, who was 55 lbs.
