It's gonna take extra coffee and ibuprofen today. Got COVID booster and Shingrix vaccine last night after work.
Skip, how are you and Carrie today? Was that guy your next door neighbor? So very scary. Glad you didn't get your 9mm involved. From the video, I think that guy would have just kept coming. You did him a huge favor by recognizing that he was unarmed and were able to give him the bum rush.
Dave, that is a very cute neck warmer, LOL. She is a funny girl. She might be a PITA at times, but she has to make you laugh.

You just can't make this **kitten* up! Everyone is still a bit keyed up. Didn't sleep well last night either. NO activity across street / no lights / nothing. Magistrate called to inform us he is out/released and "what to do in the event of." Wrist is still quite swollen.

I'll be thinking about you, Skip. I had a choir friend who went through a similar procedure. The reflux was eroding her vocal chords and she was a trained soprano for whom singing was everything. The recovery was a real pain in the tuckus, but she said it was worth it.
Is the revolver a S&W, Mary? I love the old K-frame police specials.
Lots of cleanup today, from yesterday's storm. We had heavy rain and gusts up to 60 mph. It was worse north of Seattle. Our power went down for a few seconds, Just long enough to set the clock on the microwave to flashing. Lucky nothing was worse.0 -
Morning gang.
Heading out soon to meet our new friends for a bike ride along the mission trail. Assume we will stop at all of them plus the aquaducts and might even make it to the Alamo. We will have to walk the bikes he last mile or so as no riding on the river walk. Should be a casual 25 miles or so.

My COVID booster put me down for 2 days, but they gave me full dose because I got it before they decided a half dose would do.
25 miles sounds like a lot till one looks at flat land without mountains and hills.
