Good Morning...I think

Sleep is seriously screwed up and I don't have a puppy to blame for waking at 2:30. A mix of Norco and lots of caffeine yesterday to stay awake is likely to explain. Early morning Pain Doc check-in turned out to be converted to a phone consultation due to the flu. I got a voicemail while I was finding the door locked. She prescribed an emergency supply of Norco, motivated to get me to turn in the ones I have that expired over 3 years ago. I didn't think anyone prescribed them anymore. They want to do another RFD but it is too soon after the last one 5 mos. Sound like they will just try another epidural instead. I might manage things better today. Pool workout today and probably a nap or two.0

Good Morning!
Dang! Bill, you are up way too early for left coast time. I hope that you are OK. I will be praying for your pain management.
I'm looking forward to having a few days off next week. We'll have off from noon Wednesday until Monday. The company is very generous with Thanksgiving holiday.
Construction materials are extremely expensive. Even repair items for at work. I also think that the little bits of remodel that Connie and I have done are a lot more than what they would have been before the pandemic.
I guess I can get a booster shot now. I have also not had my flu shot yet. I need to get these things done.
Have a great day!

Morning.
I still need my Pfizer booster. And shingles shot at some point.
A mild day expected today-- 60's -- but back to 40's again tomorrow. Will enjoy while I can.
Bill, careful with the medication juggling. I can't handle my caffeine except in the morning. I was heading to bed at ten last night, but got sidetracked fooling around with an old slide rule and eventually is was after midnight. Of course I still woke up at the usual oh-dark-thirty. Will be dragging at some point myself.
Did another 1-mile hike yesterday. This time a semi-bushwhack along the river I paddled two weeks ago, to check out the rapids and get some outdoors-time.
I saw a few news stories that British Med Journal reports on a whistleblower complaint about Pfizer's horribly sloppy vaccine testing. Worth reading.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Get the shots, Steve.
Hope you get some relief, Bill. But you stumped me - and Google. All I associate with RFD is Rural Free Delivery mail. That's all I got on Google, too. So what procedure is being so labeled?
Sassy seems fine. I took her on two walks, yesterday, totaling more than five miles, and she did fine. She hasn't pooped since yesterday morning's diarrhea, but that is to be expected, I guess. She was empty. Still keeping a close eye on her.
We are up to 10 people for supper on Saturday. That is going to be a challenge. Sassy will go nuts. I'll have to take special care with her around my mother. At 98 she can't handle puppies leaping up on her.
The crowd from Oregon - Mom, DS, DBIL and DN - hope to arrive around 12:30, so we will have sandwich materials available so we can feed them lunch. We have tried to think of a menu for supper that will be easy to cook. I am roasting a boneless ham (really just needs to be heated) and making scalloped potatoes. We'll have green beans from our garden and Rita is making pancit, a Philippine noodle dish. With some crusty bread and a salad, courtesy of Costco, that's supper. Dessert will be pie, that Rita already baked and put in the freezer. More shopping, today.0 -
