    Good morning gentlemen.

Glad to see your late post, yesterday, Lee. I was wondering where you were. Hope you are feeling better, today.

Last day before we get our largest contingent of guests since Covid started. We'll have 10 for lunch and supper. I am a bit worried about how Sassy will handle this invasion. She gets too excited. I'll probably get the grandkids to take her for a walk. At least the rain is supposed to go away for the weekend.

I glued the handle on the inside of the shield I'm making for DGS. Hope that is strong enough. I have one more embellishment to add, then apply a coat of polyurethane and it will be done. I'll leave it to Rita to figure out how to wrap a 30-inch sword and 15-inch shield.

    Good Morning!

Dave, I'm sure that your grandson will love his gifts. Sounds like a great weekend on tap.

Lee, I do hope that you are feeling better.

Bill, keeping you in prayer for your pain management.

I'm hoping for a quiet and quick day, and looking forward to the weekend. Next week will be a 2 1/2 day week, which will be awesome.

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning

Despite the lack of sleep yesterday, I had a relatively low pain day. Today things have shifted back. You have to laugh sometimes, but I hope I can get by with Tylenol. I will call the Dr to see if a decision has been made on which procedure. I mistyped yesterday I meant they want to do another RFA (Radio Frequency Ablation) not an RFD. This area hasn't been Rural in many a decade and is anything but now. I have been asked to consider a part-time job working with the non-profit I have been working with these past 18mos. It would mean a lot of changes around here. But I have never had a job that ever meant anything to me. 31+ years in Corporate America, especially accounting & finance was brutal. I never shed a tear leaving it behind. I hated it, but it fed and housed my family.

Good afternoon… seems I missed a few days here somehow.

Dave, sounds like a nice, busy family time this weekend. Hope the pup does okay with it all. And yer mom—98! God bless her.

Steve, BP in the 150’s is not really good. Probably better than it was, but not where it’s supposed to be yet. Stay with it.

My BP was 127/50 this morning. Hip is still sore, especially after a long walk, and while going upstairs, although not as bad as it was. I walked a mile a few times this week and almost 2 miles today. Mostly flat ground. Seeing lots of orange vests and hats on walkers and dogs. Shotgun season starts after Thanksgiving here.

Lee, hope you’re okay after the double-whammy vaccine shots.

Waiting for a book in the mail on clock repair. Hope to disassemble the “for parts” movement and clean the gears and levers, for a practice run.
