Morning BBB crew. May you all be surrounded by someone you love.
Quiet day planned here. Leftover black bean chili over roasted sweet potato on the menu. I never did get ingredients for a sweet treat.
Having company arrive tomorrow night so need to wash up their bedding and get our bikes and bike stuff out of that bedroom.

Good morning BBB crew. Merry Christmas!
I have a 6 lb., bone-in, pork roast, rubbed and ready to go in the oven this afternoon. Rice, corn pudding and green beans round out the menu. Simple fare. DW made a fantastic looking cake, yesterday. It is a double chocolate layer cake, with frosting that tastes just like homemade fudge. She told me Santa did not get any early tastes. So it goes.
The grandkids and their parents will come over after lunch and spend the afternoon and evening here. DGS has some sniffles, but we told DDIL we were OK with him coming over. I'd rather get exposed to a head cold than mess up Christmas.

12# Turkey in oven. Quiet dinner with just us three. DMIL still in bed.
Santa was super generous.

. Our big meal was last night after Christmas eve service at church.
. That double chocolate cake 🎂 sounds good.
. Got in a nice Christmas day motorcycle ride this afternoon and then enjoyed hot cocoa and s'mores around the firepit.
. Georgia State beat Ball State in the Camellia Bowl to the surprise of everyone in GA. The were a new team a few years ago.
. Emma got cookies for Christmas.
