    Good morning gentlemen.

Sassy decided it was time to get up early, this morning, so we pulled on high boots and a warm jacket and took her out in the snow to perform her duties. We got another inch of snow overnight, bringing the backyard total to around 8 inches. I shoveled the drive and sidewalk yesterday, thinking most of the snowfall was done. Then we got another four inches.

Sassy loves the snow. She likes to find the deepest parts to run through at full speed, a look of rapture on her face. She whines and cries when she has to come inside - just like a young child.

Despite the snow and ice, we have some errands to run today. We're still eating the last of the massive pork loin I roasted for Christmas, so supper is taken care of. I think I'll cook some collard greens to go with it, tonight.

    Mornin'

Ended up watching virtual church services yesterday. After some research I discovered my county is a CDC "high" COVID transmission area and the town is "substantial transmission", and they recommend everyone wear masks in public, indoor spaces. At church, over half do not. I printed the information and will show to the town health people. Many towns in Mass. have mask requirements, but not here.

PT late morning, then family gathering at DD's. I will hang out at the firepit in the yard and maybe take the dog for a walk; will not stay long.

    Steve, hang in there.

    Good Morning!

Mike, thank you! I still have not heard my test results. I am hoping that the holiday is past now, that I'll hear something today. I am still having bouts with low fever. I am getting cabin fever now. I started working on a 1,000 piece puzzle yesterday. First time in over 30 years. I am having a good time with it. I also will be catching up on reading. Five more days to go of this. I feel bad that Connie is having to step and fetch it. I am anxious to get back to work, and I am anxious to get going on some projects again. Moderation will be a new mantra.

    Have a great day!

Good afternoon gents (we're 6 hours ahead of EST)

Sounds like you are making the best of the situation, Steve. Hopefully your test will be ready sometime today...it shouldn't take more than 3 days.
I feel awful missing Lucy's first snow. Like missing your kid's first steps.
    Stay safe Mike.
Glad we're not in western Canada. Just heard on the news that its -50 F there.

    Be OP ;-)

    Good Morning

Steve, I am surprised by how long the test results are taking. But it sounds like you are taking advantage of the time off to rest and relax.

Still recovering from my 2nd round with this cold. But it is easing after a day of rest yesterday. Cleaning up a bit around here today until my pool workout which hopefully will help ease things in the back. Cold and wet out there so I will try and stay inside again and rest a bit more.
