I ended up needing some Norco yesterday afternoon & early evening and now am enjoying the 2:30am blessing going being unable to sleep. Worth it though. I picked up a Christmas ham still on sale at the store yesterday so we will have a nice dinner tonight. I will take it easy today and putz around and try some very gentle stretching, ice and TENS and try and stick with just Tylenol ER.0

Mornin'
Another ice storm here this morning. I'd rather snow.
Had a nice visit with family yesterday afternoon. I stayed in the yard the whole afternoon, where we had a campfire going, and there was a Solo Stove blazing on the deck. GKs exchanged secret Santa gifts. People also gathered in DD's house but I wouldn't go in. DD and DGD who had COVID two weeks ago were there, and looked well, except DD still is tired and feels like she has a head cold or sinus thing. I left with a new icefishing tip-up and an 1800's book on canoeing, plus a few homemade xmas ornaments.
Graduated from PT yesterday. He said keep doing the exercises, and maybe join a gym or swim for general strength and flexibility.
Have a good day.

Good Morning!
Bill, still praying for your pain management.
Mike, sounds like a great time was had by all. Congratulations on the PT graduation!
I woke up today feeling noticeably better. I am not well, just better. I have even taken a shower and shaved already this morning. It would appear that the CDC changed recommendations yesterday from a 10 day isolation to a 5 day isolation. Today starts day 6 for me. Connie and I will negotiate on what she is comfortable with me doing around the house. I have no plans to go back to work this week, however, I do plan to work tomorrow from home. I have to pay myself this week.
We are finally getting rain. We have only had .19 inch in one rain event in the last 43 days. That is some sort of dry record for us. We are getting a good soaking rain today.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
We got another couple inches of snow overnight, it looks like. I've shoveled the driveway and our sidewalks twice. Now they are due for a third. At least this hasn't been the heavy, wet snow we often get.
We have the grandkids coming over for the night, tonight. They'll be here all day tomorrow, too. Sassy will love it. She is a big fan of all children, especially Elsie and Andrew.0 -
Afternoon gents.
Woke up with a headcold so decided to take a rapid test....waiting for the result as I type. Scheduled to have one Friday before getting on the plane Saturday but DDIL announced last night she's expecting so I figured everyone will feel better if I test negative.
Yep, that's right, I'm gonna be a grandpa.
No test result yet, Steve?
Glad you are less painful in spite of being an insomniac as a side effect, Bill.
We visited the Nuremberg Castle today. Lots of cool armaments and personal armor. The place where they held the trials was closed.
Be OP ;-)0 -
Good Morning,
Being very lazy this week
Highs in 70's all week, rain coming in tomorrow
I want to take all decorations down, DW wants to wait till after Saturday.
DGS had tested positive for COVID last Thursday so they have not made it out here yet.
DDIL tested positive Monday morning, DS was sent home from work when he told them. They were here Friday, so far we have had no symptoms. I am suppose to have some procedures Friday; and my brothers and their families are coming Saturday.
Do not know about younger brother but older brother has refused vaccine and he is dealing with many health issues. Can't fix stupid.
Congratulations on forth coming of becoming a GRANDPA Lee, GK's are great then they become teens

Lee, congratulations on soon to be grandpa!
I did get confirmation from the State of Kansas. I am positive for Covid-19, but they do not list or tell a variant.

Steve, The home rapid tests are at many pharmacies…a neighbor could get one for you. Would help assure you are safe to mingle again, to protect the family.0
