One of my all time favorite books is free today! It's the first of a series, but this one was definitely my favorite.
Actually there are a lot of freebies today, I'm just going to put the link here. Again, from this link they are all supposed to be appropriate for Christians, but may not all be actually considered Christian fiction.

Oh, I'm so glad Rescuing Finley is free. I remember how much you liked it.
Here's a multibook, single author deal for $.99:

I've enjoyed this series, so was excited to see this is free today:

I loved that series, too. I already had that book, though.

Kim, I thought of you when I saw this book of messages by Jim Elliot. 99 cents on Amazon, but if you can do some of the other ebook platforms, they are free.
Free on Smashwords
Free on Nook - but the link won't submit. I have tried 6 times and it keeps saying gateway time-out

And I think free on Apple books

For a book like this I will pay the $.99. Thanks for thinking of me. I'll start this one tonight!

I got it on Apple books, but don't know when I will read it. I don't know why I went that direction, but I was on my Mac….

Hey, if you can get it free, go for it! I started it and listened to the first sermon. The second sermon I ended up skipping, his view of why the Father sent His Son was so different from mine. He said that God was punishing Jesus when He sent Him to the cross. Two things I see wrong with that: 1 - was the lamb in the OT being punished for the sin of the one who brought it? No, it was a sacrifice in obedience to God's requirements for forgiveness of sin. 2 - Jesus didn't do anything to be punished for and God in his Word tells us that only the one who has sinned with be punished for that sin. "The soul that sins will die." Ezk 18 and 33. God required a sacrifice of an pure unblemished Lamb, and only Jesus was able to be that sacrifice so that we could be set free from our sin(s). He continued on in this vein so I just skipped to the next one, which was very good.
Here's a freebie by an author I don't know but it is tabbed as Christian fiction:
Another unknown author, but Christian fiction:
This one I've had for awhile. She can get a bit steamy though.

Thanks Kim - I really like Jessica Ashley - romantic suspense. I had the pirate book and not the other one.
WOW! I have never heard of someone saying that Jesus death was punishment. I would have probably skipped it, but might have listened just out of curiosity of how anyone could get to that premise.

It just doesn't make sense!
Here's another freebie by an author I haven't heard of, but the book sounds interesting:

Oh, I have been reading that series. It is so good. I didn't know about this companion book, but I do already have it. I'm going to find it and start it tonight. I love that series. And when I looked at the book, it showed a prequel to the series that I had, as well. WooHoo! The series is available on KU, but hoopla had the first two on audio, then I realized I had book 3….now I have 2 more. There are several in the series that I will get back to when I go back to KU in a month or two. I definitely want to go back, but I have so much available right now, that I am really not missing it.

Ohhhh - I found a link for a bunch of freebie Christian Fiction, but I keep trying to get it to come up here and it wont. I figured out that I can get the main page to paste in. There is a tab for Christian romance, but there are Christian books mixed into most of the other categories, as well.

I wonder if that's the same as this link (sent to me by one of the authors I follow - Lacy Williams. Her book is indeed the Historical Tab. Free this weekend).

I was just coming on to give the same link!

I don't know if anyone would be interested in free audiobooks, but ElevenReader (application available through playstore) has their audiobooks for free. According to a clean author that I periodically read (Hope Auugust) they are all free now, but will eventually go to a pay format. All of the books are done AI, but evidently have really amazing author voices. This is an except from her newsletter
"I personally love the ability to have my book read by a professional narrator of my choice who has licensed their voice to ElevenReader. I had so much fun listening to James Dean (yes - the one from Rebel Without a Cause)."Anyway, they have some Jill Penrod books (early Adult) and Vivian Belle, who writes Christian historical. Right now, that is all that come up if you put Christian Fiction in the search bar. I have been thinking about trying the Jill Penrod books, so this is a good way to see if they are as good as the St. Ninian's series by her.

Chirp is having a $.99 sale on many of their audio books. I looked up Mystery and Thrillers and there are a lot of Agatha Christie and some Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as well in there. I haven't seen anything specifically Christian though.

I searched for Christian Fiction and found: Walking Shoes by Lynne Gentry; Dark Intercept by Brian Andrews - that's it for Christian Fiction which actually looks like those in suspense. They have other categories too.

I found that the other day, but didn't find anything.
There was an entire post with just the Becky Wade book that didn't post...I noticed when I was posting the other book. That's why I made the comment and added it there.
